As is often the case with new consoles, gamers are also wondering which games may end up appearing as limited edition console designs. The latest piece of impressive\u00a0fan art shows just how good\u00a0<em><strong>Watch Dogs: Legion<\/strong><\/em> would\u00a0look on the Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n<p>Having a tall rectangular shape with perfectly square depth and width, the Xbox Series X is a particularly suitable canvas for artwork and designer XboxPope has added an amazing <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/watch-dogs-legion\/\">Watch Dogs: Legion<\/a><\/em> design to\u00a0their already long list of excellent\u00a0fan artwork. The design uses the game&#8217;s predominant red and blue colors, including the Dedsec icon, along with blue analogue sticks and button labels.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-overheating-debunked\/\">Microsoft Responds to Xbox Series X Overheating Reports<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The comparatively subtle use of color and branding give this custom Xbox Series X a modern technical look, without the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/watch-dogs-legion-pre-order-bonuses-special-editions\/\"><em>Watch Dogs: Legion<\/em> name or imagery<\/a> dominating the appearance, meaning it would be unlikely to date as fast as some limited edition designs. Despite being fan art, gamers on twitter have quickly been suggesting that they would like to buy the design, that Microsoft and Ubisoft utilize it, and even that the\u00a0former should take XboxPope on board.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XboxPope\/status\/1314640303635263489\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of <em>Watch Dogs: Legion<\/em> featuring a free update to the next generation consoles and featuring futuristic tech inspired design, Ubisoft&#8217;s action adventure title is a great candidate for a limited edition console. Despite\u00a0their name, XboxPope has also created plenty of fan artwork for the PlayStation 5 too. Other recent and upcoming titles\u00a0to receive designs include\u00a0<em>Outriders<\/em>, <em>Hunt Showdown<\/em>, <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-tony-hawks-pro-skater-fan-design-console\/\">Tony Hawk&#8217;s Pro Skater 1 and 2<\/a><\/em>, and <em>Star Wars: Squadrons<\/em>. The latter\u00a0even featured\u00a0light side and dark side variants, generating great feedback from fans of the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/ps5s-plates-easily-removed-custom-plates\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony\u00a0stating that\u00a0the PlayStation 5\u00a0offers customization options for its plates<\/a>, as well as the rectangular shape of the Xbox Series X, the upcoming console generation looks like being a golden period for console fan-art, especially with skilled artists like XboxPope around. It&#8217;s a shame, however, that licensing issues makes it hard for gamers to actually utilize such great pieces of branding and sponsorship.
