Many are looking forward to exploring the Viking era world that <strong><em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em><\/strong> offers, which will follow main character Eivor as they attempt to conquer England. <em>Valhalla<\/em> is expected to have a large open-world map, but just how many regions will be explorable is still relatively unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Recent information about <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/assassins-creed-valhalla\/\"><em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em><\/a> has revealed that the story will follow Eivor as they raid England to establish a settlement for their people. Viking era England is going to look very different compared to modern standards, but this gives the game the chance to explore legendary sites such as<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-sherwood-forest\/\"> Sherwood Forest<\/a>. But, like its predecessor <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Odyssey<\/em>, it seems <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em> may explore some mystical locations as well.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-hidden-one-new-character-basim-ezio\/\">New Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla Characters Looks A Lot Like Ezio<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em> Art director Raphael Lacoste has answered a fan on Twitter asking what\u00a0region\u00a0in the new game he is most proud of. In response Lacoste revealed that Asgard will be one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/assassins-creed-valhallas-winchester-london-york\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new locations included in <em>Valhalla<\/em><\/a>. Asgard is one of the nine realms in Norse Mythology and is typically a home to the Gods. Valhalla itself is also said to be a hall for slain warriors located within Asgard, so it&#8217;s now possible that players may be able to visit the famous location that is featured in the game&#8217;s title.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/raphaellacoste\/status\/1315343738760298501\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-story-eivor\/\"><em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em> has teased that Eivor<\/a> may have a larger destiny in the new game, but now it seems the character may have a connection to the Gods as well. Different renditions of Asgard have appeared in popular media over the years, but it will be interesting to see <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed&#8217;s<\/em> version of the Godly realm and how expansive it will be. Early gameplay footage of <em>Valhalla<\/em> has shown the medieval vibe of ninth century England, which looks to be a fairly different environment to <em>Odyssey&#8217;s<\/em> Ancient Greece.\u00a0Ubisoft does look to be sticking to the gameplay style\u00a0it introduced with\u00a0<em>Odyssey,<\/em> but <em>Valhalla<\/em> will make some additional changes, such as the removing of level-gating and the ability to dual-wield any weapon.<\/p>\n<p><em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/em> will also be one of the first launch titles playable on Xbox Series X and PS5, and is <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-frame-rate-ps5-4k-60\/\">expected to run in 4K at 60 frames-per-second<\/a> on both.
