Far Cry 2: New Dunia\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is a mod for\u00a0Far Cry 2\u00a0<\/em>that completely overhauls the game, making it more suitable for modern audiences. As one of the most divisive games in the franchise<\/a>, modder dannyhl2 did a great job in tweaking the game’s systems and updating its graphics to help ease the complaints that many had about it while maintaining the features that diehard fans loved.<\/p>\n

Far Cry 2<\/em><\/a>: New Dunia<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is available for download at Nexus Mods free of charge, and will provide players with an all new experience. Among the many changes, there are some bug fixes, graphical improvements, gameplay optimization, and even new features. Both\u00a0Far Cry 2\u00a0<\/em>veterans and newcomers alike will get a lot out of this unofficial remaster, and an official remaster is very unlikely.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most exciting changes made were those listed under Gameplay Improvements, as dannyhl2 did a lot of work to overhaul certain aspects of the game. Players will now be able to use their machete to stealth kill enemies, opening up brand new ways to approach certain situations, and enemies have been rebalanced to avoid the obnoxious bullet sponge trope<\/a> from coming into play too much.<\/p>\n

Far Cry 2: New Dunia\u00a0<\/em>is consistently being updated by dannyhl2, so interested players should be sure to check it out. There are also a lot of other changes listed above that were not directly mentioned here, so there’s something to please everyone. It’s unclear whether these changes will be enough to satisfy the game’s detractors, but those that enjoyed <\/a>Far Cry 2<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>already\u00a0it will find even more fun to be had.<\/p>\n
