The date, also known as National Coming Out Day, gives closeted <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/best-ps4-games-starring-lgbtq-characters\/\">LGBTQ+<\/a> people a platform to come out to their friends, loved ones, and the general public. A member of <strong>FaZe Clan<\/strong> has also took advantage of the day to come out to his fans.<\/p>\n<p>Pro Streamer FaZe Ewok recently returned to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/twitch\/\">Twitch<\/a> after Microsoft shut down Mixer.\u00a0Ewok was helping <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mixer-ending-goodbye-video\/\">Mixer<\/a> make its platform more accessible due to the streamer&#8217;s personal experience of being deaf and navigating streaming websites. When Ewok first joined FaZe Clan, the streamer was advertised as the first female streamer to join the organization. However, it seems like that was not the case.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mixer-shutdown-ewok-accessbility-streaming-amber-howard\/\">How the Mixer Shutdown Affects Streamer Ewok and Accessibility in Gaming<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On October 11, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/pro-fortnite-streamer-ewok-return-twitch\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FaZe Ewok<\/a> took to Twitter to publicly come out. In a Twitlonger message, the streamer announced that he is a trans man, meaning that he was assigned female at birth but identifies as male. Ewok also came out as bisexual while still emphasizing that there is a difference between sexual orientation and gender. The streamer said that he has never felt comfortable in a &#8220;girl body,&#8221; and that he had dressed in boy&#8217;s clothes that he had borrowed from his little brother. Ewok realized that he had to face this head-on and decided to come out to the public, asking for support from his fans as he says that transitioning will be difficult for him.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ewok\/status\/1315379567838859265\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Ewok&#8217;s Twitter post has gotten a variety of responses. Content creators such as Valkyrae and other\u00a0members\u00a0of FaZe Clan affirmed their support of Ewok and his gender identity. However, many fans were not so thrilled with Ewok&#8217;s disclosure, saying that he was too young to understand his gender identity and claiming that playing games like <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-fortnitemares-2020-skins-leak\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> cause teenagers to make these decisions about themselves.
