The PlayStation 5 is only less than a month away from finally releasing but information on one of its launch titles,\u00a0Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/strong>, has been surprisingly sparse, with\u00a0it barely being talked about since its initial announcement at the PS5’s reveal event<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We do know that it’s a vehicle combat game, where the objective is to smash and crash into other players to take them out, sort of like\u00a0the\u00a0Twisted Metal\u00a0<\/em>series<\/a>, though the big gameplay difference is that players must also sometimes parkour around the arena on foot and avoid being run over. Not to mention, it’s far more colorful and less gritty, with obvious similarities being made to\u00a0Overwatch\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Fortnite<\/em>.<\/p>\n

However, some additional gameplay details may have been leaked, courtesy of game designer David Jaffe who, coincidentally enough, worked on the aforementioned\u00a0Twisted Metal<\/em>. The details don’t come directly from him but a conversation he had with an anonymous individual who contacted him, claiming to have taken part in an early play test of\u00a0Destruction AllStars<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>back in 2019.<\/p>\n
