Goro Akechi has never stopped being a divisive character for Persona 5<\/strong><\/em> players, with him very much falling into the ‘love him or hate him’ category. It makes it that less surprising that he would be trending around Twitter with the hashtag #GoodbyeGoro.<\/p>\n

This recent hashtag however has nothing to do with Akechi’s words and actions during the events of Persona 5<\/em><\/a>. Rather, it is due to a recent fan-made poll where Persona<\/em> fans can vote on their favorite characters throughout the Persona<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

The fan-poll<\/a> that is calculating all of these results and presenting them is a Twitter account going by @PersonaAward. The polls themselves are called the Persona<\/em> Awards 2021, with round two being the round to cause this hashtag surrounding Akechi to trend.<\/p>\n
