However, a recent video shows the popular <em><strong>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0running\u00a0at the higher 8K resolution.<\/p>\n<p>While 8K resolution isn&#8217;t exactly mainstream, some gaming systems such as\u00a0the Xbox Series X will support it. The video displays\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/horizon-zero-dawn\/\"><em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em><\/a> running at 8K resolution compared to the current 4K resolution most games tend to support. It is part of a series of videos released by gaming YouTuber Bang4BuckPC Gamer on his channel showing the game in the higher resolution.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/crysis-remastered-8k-trailer-original-game-comparison\/\">8K Crisis Remastered Trailer Compares Remaster to the Original Game<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The series of videos show off <em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em> as well as other popular games including <em>The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt<\/em>, <em>Final Fantasy 15<\/em>, and <em>Crysis 3<\/em>\u00a0with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nvidia-8k-upscaling-rtx-3090\/\">Nvidia&#8217;s\u00a0upscaled graphics card<\/a>.\u00a0Each title is given their own video to display the 8K resolution and frame-rates in action and show off the power of Nvidia&#8217;s\u00a08K graphics card.\u00a0Bang4Buck does show his PC specs in the video&#8217;s description to show what exactly he was using to run and capture the video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hEMd2hvEA48?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The footage shows the three games running on <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nvidia-rtx-3090-graphic-cards-benchmarks\/\">the Nvidia\u00a0GeForce RTX 3090<\/a>, the world&#8217;s first major\u00a08K gaming GPU and the graphical performance it provides. On the <em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em> video, Bang4Buck\u00a0applies the necessary changes to run the game at 8K with 30 FPS then dives right\u00a0into gameplay from there. He shows off the new visual resolution playing as Aloy as he shows her running, swimming, and fighting the game&#8217;s robotic enemies with little to no errors.<\/p>\n<p>There are some dips below 30 FPS in the middle of the video but nothing serious as it returns\u00a0back to normal. Bang4BuckPC Gamer decides to see how it holds up in a challenging encounter with more difficult enemies. During the combat there\u00a0are some noticeable drops in frame rates but nothing too significant as the gaming YouTuber\u00a0notes it&#8217;s still playable even when the frame rates dip. He sums up his experience as being a fascinating one\u00a0seeing the game on those high quality settings compared to how <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/horizon-zero-dawn-ps4-pro-gameplay\/\"><em>Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em> 4K resolution\u00a0on the PlayStation Pro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the other videos, he\u00a0makes similar comments when playing the other games at 8K and notes the sharp graphics while mentioning\u00a0the occasional frame rate drops here and there. His videos show <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/the-witcher-3-8k-pc-resolution\/\"><em>The Witcher 3<\/em> looks great at 8K<\/a> as does <i>Final\u00a0Fantasy 15<\/i>\u00a0and <em>Crysis 3<\/em>.
