Movie tie-in games are often looked down upon and rightly criticized for being rushed as the developers often have tight time schedules to adhere to, ensuring that their game is released in line with the corresponding film. Many gamers thought that this would be the case with <em>King Kong. <\/em>Even the title implied that the game would be a cash grab, with publishers Ubisoft\u00a0seemingly desperate to let consumers know that it was related to the hit film.<\/p>\n<p>However, developers <em>Ubisoft Montpellier\u00a0<\/em>did an excellent job with <em>King Kong<\/em>. With no HUD and fantastic sound effects,\u00a0the game\u00a0was\u00a0extremely immersive and played like a\u00a0survival horror title. Despite being released 5 years later, <em>Nightfire<\/em>\u00a0still had this weight of expectation on its shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>Despite never reaching<em>\u00a0<\/em>the heights of <em>GoldenEye 007,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<em>Nightfire<\/em> was still a fantastic game in its own right.\u00a0For example, it<em>\u00a0<\/em>did an excellent job of updating the split-screen multiplayer formula that <em>GoldenEye<\/em> revolutionized. The game&#8217;s multiplayer had many weapons to use, characters to play as, and well-designed stages to compete in. Moreover,<em> Nightfire\u00a0<\/em>had one of the best single-player campaigns in Bond&#8217;s gaming history. Players could use multiple gadgets, drive modded cars, and shoot down enemies with great gameplay that made gamers feel like they were the iconic 00 agent.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"item-title\"><span class=\"item-num\">6 <\/span>TimeSplitters: Future Perfect<\/h2>\n<figure><img src='https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/timesplitters-future-perfect.jpg' \/><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/TimeSplitters\/\"><em>TimeSplitters: Future Perfect<\/em><\/a> is the third entry in the <em>TimeSplitters<\/em> series. Much\u00a0like the rest of the series, <em>Future Perfect<\/em> takes heavy inspiration from Rare&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/Perfect%20Dark\/\"><em>Perfect Dark <\/em><\/a>and<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/GoldenEye\/\"> GoldenEye<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the game added online multiplayer, finally letting players take their arcade shooting skills to the worldwide web.
