These are the best game controllers for Android
Mobile gaming on your phone often offers the flexibility of gaming everywhere just using touchscreen controls. But let’s be real — there’s nothing better than gaming with a trusty controller in hand. The best option is the Razer Raiju Mobile which is a premium Bluetooth controller that will let you play all your favorite old-school games using emulators or the best Android games that support Bluetooth controls.
Best Overall: Razer Raiju Mobile
When you consider everything that the Razer Raiju Mobile brings to the table — dual Bluetooth and wired connections, four multifunction buttons that can be remapped to fit your needs, hair-trigger mode for both left and right triggers, and a phone mount with a 60-degree tilt for comfortable viewing angles — the only thing that might give you pause is the price.
The Razer Raiju Mobile is a pro controller that feels perfectly balanced in your hand, even with a phone mounted. That makes this a great controller for extended gaming sessio… 閱讀全文
Amazon Fire Tablet: Which storage size should I buy?
Best answer: It depends on which tablet you’re looking to get, but no one has ever complained about having too much storage on a tablet. Given how affordable the Amazon Fire Tablets are, your best bet is to always go for the largest storage option available.
Best-seller: Fire 7 Tablet (32GB) ($70 at Amazon)
Slightly faster and bigger: Fire HD 8 (32GB) ($110 at Amazon)
A smart save: Fire HD 10 (32GB) ($160 at Amazon)
For the kids: Fire 7 Kids Edition (16GB) ($100 at Amazon)
Bigger is almost always better
The first thing you need to know about buying an Amazon Fire tablet is that the listed storage space is not actually representative of the usable storage space you end up with. Amazon builds its tablets on the Android operating system, which requires a decent chunk of storage for core system functions and Amazon’s own apps and services. This is worth keeping in mind especially when considering a tablet that offers both 16GB and 32GB options. That 16GB tablet will, in actuality, g… 閱讀全文
The Elder Scrolls: Blades update ditches timed loot crates and adds PvP
A brand new adventure in Tamriel awaits!
The Elder Scrolls: Blades was first revealed Bethesda’s 2018 E3 showcase and the beta version of the game has been live for Android and iOS for quite some time now — long enough for some players to have already maxed out their characters and completed all in-game quests.
Bethesda has absolutely delivered on the promise of a first-person RPG Elder Scrolls game with console-quality graphics that you can play on your smartphone, albeit with repetitive combat and a rather stark reliance on in-app purchases. The latest update has finally addressed some of the biggest issues holding the game back including the removal of time-locked loot chests and introduction of proper multiplayer features.
If you’ve been waiting to check this game out, now’s a great time to dive in to see what TES: Blades has to offer!

The best controller for Stadia isn’t the one sold by Google… for now
Best answer: Google Stadia gives players the freedom to play on a Pixel phone, through a Chrome browser on PC or Mac, or on any TV with a Chromecast Ultra. Currently, Google’s Stadia controller is your only option for playing Stadia games on your TV. For Stadia gaming on a Pixel or PC, you’re better off using an Xbox One controller or any Bluetooth controller you may already own and love.
A versatile controller: Xbox One controller ($39 at Amazon)
Designed just for Stadia: Google Stadia Premiere Edition ($129 at Google)
What’s “best” really depends on how you want to play
I wish I could just say that the best and easiest controller to use with Google Stadia is Google’s own Stadia controller. That would make everybody’s life easier. We’re talking about a controller with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity that promises to deliver the lowest input latency and was specifically designed for Google’s unique cloud-based game streaming service.
It could have (and should have) been a… 閱讀全文

Terraforming Mars is an award-winning board game you can play on your phone
Terraforming Mars is one of the most celebrated strategy board games released in the past decade. A digital version of the game was released on Steam last year, and now fans can enjoy playing the game on their smartphones, too.
While I never played the board game myself, my old roommates were absolutely obsessed with Terraforming Mars. I’d often come home to see our kitchen table taken over by a giant map of Mars and find them deeply focused on solving dilemmas and re-working their strategies for raising the planet’s temperature.
The smartphone version of the game captures all the same depth and strategy of the board game with a fresh UI that’s designed to be played on smartphones or tablets.
Your goal in this turn-based strategy game is the same as always: to transform Mars into a habitable planet for humans to colonize. Each player is the head of a corporation working towards that, and while you must work cooperatively to reach the shared objective, there’s plenty of opportu… 閱讀全文
These were the best Android games we played last month!
We’re into the last month of 2019 and there’s been a flurry of good games released on the Google Play Store as of late, as well as others who came to our attention through Google Play Store Black Friday deals. Those deals are over, but the games are still great and worthy of extra attention.
Ordia
Ordia is a vertical-scrolling platformer where you play as a green and gooey life form that needs to make its way through a hazardous new environment. You start out each level in a green pool and must slingshot your little buddy towards other friendly green launch points, which it will automatically glom onto if your aim is true.
The gameplay and controls are quite simple — if you’ve ever played Angry Birds you’ll feel right at home here — but the levels are cleverly designed to require precise aim to avoid getting destroyed by the world’s deadly red flora and fauna. New elements are introduced as you progress through the 30 levels set across three unique worlds, with eac… 閱讀全文
