Harmonix’s new interactive music game, Fuser, is looking to put players back in the center of large-scale concerts while focusing on music mashups. Today, Harmonix announced that Fuser has gone gold and detailed the bonus set list for fans purchasing the VIP Edition of the game.
Fuser puts players in control of the music as they take parts of different songs and mash them together during a festival performance. Harmonix has been hyping up how Fuser’s gameplay can turn any player into a DJ for a virtual crowd or their friends. The game releases November 10 for all current-generation consoles and PC, and will include over 100 songs as part of the base game.
The Fuser VIP Edition includes 25 DLC songs on top of that. Fans purchasing the VIP Edition will get access to songs like “Rock Your Body” by Justin Timberlake, “Starships” by Nicki Minaj, and “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence – which can now be mixed together with Smash Mouth’s “All-Star” for meme-loving fans. Each DLC song will be available when Fuser releases in November, and for those skipping on the full VIP Edition the bonus songs can be purchased separately for $1.99 each.
Harmonix has partnered up with celebrities such as David Hasselhoff to help promote Fuser. Harmonix has tried to get into the music mixing video game business before with DropMix, but the card game aspect of it never seemed to catch on. Now, it appears that Harmonix has fine-tuned the DJ experience for its latest title, and Fuser has a chance to be what DropMix wasn’t.
Fuser will be releasing for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on November 10.
