Fortnite World Cup Champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf has partnered with company Five Below on a line of exclusive gaming products.
Bugha was the winner of the last year’s Fortnite World Cup, earning $3 million dollars in the process at just 16 years old. He will be unable to defend his title this year because of the 2020 Fortnite World Cup cancelation.
Five Below and Bugha have created a line of budget-friendly products geared at players who are looking to get more into gaming, but may not otherwise have the financial ability to do so. Bugha says the reasoning for the collaboration is “We both want everyone to be able to get into gaming without breaking the bank.”
He then briefly talks about a few features for each one of the products. However, this is not the first time a company has come out with a line of budget-friendly gear. HP revealed a line of cheap new gaming accessories earlier this year. There are seven items available now in over 1,000 stores, as well as Five Below’s website. These gaming products include:
- LED gaming headset with boom mic
- Gaming LED headset stand with USB ports
- LED gaming keyboard
- Gaming LED microphone
- LED mouse
- Gaming LED mousepad
- LED gaming speakers & subwoofer set
This line should be popular with gamers based off of the LED alone. LED is extremely popular within the PC and gaming communities, so much so that a Japanese company is selling LED face masks. While the lighting looks the part, the pricing is definitely the product line’s biggest selling point. Each gaming accessory will cost players a mere $10. While it’s technically not “Five Below,” it’s hard to argue against getting electronics that are this budget-friendly. The mouse even features seven keys so players can set it up for their favorite games. The different microphone options better equip gamers who play online or stream.
The Bugha and Five Below line of products look sharp and well-built, especially for the price point of only $10. These accessories should help kids, those strapped for cash, or people who just aren’t avid enough gamers to invest in more expensive brands get more into gaming. The seven items provide everything a player needs to get gaming on PC. Players could upgrade their gear later on with little worry because of the low dollar investment.
Of course, those who ARE trying to get top-of-the-line gear but don’t want to spend any money can enter a contest that lets players win streamers gaming setups.
