Deep Rock Galactic is receiving its first piece of post-launch content in the form of two brand-new missions. As an added bonus, the content is entirely free for anyone who owns the game.
The multiplayer first-person shooter from Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing launched earlier this year on PC, and this new update is the first time fans will be able to try out additional content. Deep Rock Galactic is already one of the longest games on PC, as it can take over 150 hours to beat, so the new missions will ensure that players have even more to do.
Recently a new trailer announcing the update was launched on YouTube, along with a blog post. “Update 32” brings new missions, new cosmetics, and more to the cave crawling roguelike, one of the best of 2019. The update also sees a new piece of paid DLC, the Roughneck Pack.
The first new mission is called On-Site Refining. Players must find and collect Liquid Morkite, and the mission includes a new pipeline system for fast traversal through the mines. Escort Duty is the name of the next new mission, and this one is combat-heavy, as players must search for the mysterious Ommoran Heartstone. This mission doesn’t sound too safe, so players will need to be on their toes.
The update also comes with tons of new cosmetics, as well as a new assignment. Players can jump in as a solo dwarf, or they can play online with friends in the new update, in one of the better co-op games in recent memory.
Deep Rock Galactic is available now on PC and Xbox One.
