Apex Legends Leak Reveals New Look at Upcoming Characters

Apex Legends is currently in Season 6 and seems to follow the same blueprint for new characters. Each season, a new legend has been added and recently, new legends reveal more lore and give players ways to uncover character stories through quests and challenges. Each season, dataminers try to find clues surrounding the next legend to come out and now a reliable dataminer seems to have found evidence of a handful of future Apex Legends characters.

In a now deleted tweet, reliable dataminer “Biast12” released screenshots of an Apex Legends character selection screen, which shows eight legends who have not been released. However, fans may recognize a few of the legends from previous leaks or from Apex Legends quests. Fans will notice that Horizon is right next to Rampart, furthering the theory that she will be the new Season 7 legend. The character screen displays the legends in order of release, so it is possible that the legends will release in the order shown.

Both Blisk and Ash are shown next to Horizon in the character screen, and have made previous appearances in the game. Blisk is a ruthless mercenary from the Titanfall series and is thought to have his hand in the organization running the Apex games, and Ash is also from the Titanfall series and appeared in the Season 5 quest Broken Ghost.

The leak also reveals both Valk and Fuse, who have been leaked previously. Based on past leaks and character descriptions, Valk is a smaller character with blue hair, has a jetpack attached to her back, and will have the ability to hover and launch her team towards the sky to skydive to another location. Fuse sports an eyepatch and a killer mustache and is an explosives expert who has what appears to be a large cannon or grenade launcher on his back.

Two more legends named Pariah and Gunzerker only have dummy placeholders for their character model, however Gunzerker has a “weapons enthusiast” character description while Pariah does not. If the character order is correct, these legends with placeholders could be released as early as Season 10. Not much is known about these legends, but Apex Legends may introduce them in quests or Easter eggs in earlier seasons.

Although it is a reliable leak, fans should not get too attached to any unreleased legends, because Apex Legends is known for switching season characters and tricking fans. Prior to Season 4, many fans believed the next legend would be the melee expert Forge, but was killed off and replaced by Revenant. All the leaked legends would make a great addition to the roster, but fans will have to wait to see which legends are released each season.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version currently in development.
