Cyberpunk 2077 delayed to December 10

CD Projekt Red has delayed Cyberpunk 2077 to December 10.

The developers of Cyberpunk 2077 have delayed the game by 21 days to December 10.

According to CD Projekt Red, the extra time will give the team time to prepare and test all versions of the game.

This includes the current-gen versions, PC, next-gen, and Stadia.

“Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly,” said the studio.

“We are aware it might seem unrealistic when someone says that 21 days can make such a difference in such a massive and complex game, but they really do.”

The studio goes on to say that it is working on improvements that will be included with a day one patch. According to CDPR, the studio “undercalculated.”

News of the Cyberpunk 2077 delay was announced on Twitter.

Here’s the notice:

This is the third time the game has been delayed, with the original date set for April. It was then moved into September before being moved yet again into November.

Cyberpunk 2077 was set to release on November 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
