Sega has unveiled two new game bundles for the Nintendo Switch, bringing some of the most iconic characters and games back to the console in style. Players interested in these games have a choice between two separate bundles. The first contains Team Sonic Racing and Sonic Mania, while the second bundle will give fans access to Sonic Forces and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD.
Both of these bundles are available for the Nintendo Switch for $39.99 each making each individual game in the bundle come out to about $20. Since both Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD and Team Sonic Racing typically retail for $29.99, fans that purchase the bundle will be saving about $10 by doing so.
The first bundle, containing Team Sonic Racing and Sonic Mania, is full of some pretty hard hitters. Though Team Sonic Racing was received with somewhat mixed reviews, it is generally considered a good game by most. On the other hand, Sonic Mania was widely well received, as fans loved the return to Sonic The Hedgehog‘s roots.
The other bundle is a bit more of a gamble, as audiences weren’t especially thrilled about either title. Sonic Forces provides fans with a different type of Sonic game, though some critics decry it for being uninspired or difficult to get into. Likewise, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD wasn’t hailed as an amazing game, but it serves its purpose as a party game well. Players looking to find something to do with friends will love this offering, and Sonic Forces has a lot to give as well.
