Genshin Impact is now on the third day of its current Marvelous Merchandise event. Players must find the shady traveling merchant Liben yet again, and gather some ingredients for a chance at unwrapping another one of his Boxes o’ Marvel.
The Marvelous Merchandise event has been underway for three days now, marking the first major in-game event in Genshin Impact. The new wandering salesman Liben allows players to open one of his marvelous boxes every day of the event, each rewarding players with a valuable assortment of gifts.
The Marvelous Merchandise event began on October 26th and will be running until November 2nd, 2020. Each day of the event, players can find a special swipe-to-reveal clue in their inboxes, which shares the last known location of Liben on that particular day. Thus far, he has been fairly easy to locate, usually setting up shop directly near the entrance of major towns like Springvale, so the event makes for some lighthearted fun rather than an elaborate chore.
While Liben asked for mushrooms in Mondstadt on the first day and pinecones in Springvale on the second day, he’ll be requesting berries on today, the third day. As per his clue, players will be able to meet Liben in the vicinity of Dawn Winery on Day 3. The berries he requires can be found in small shrubs throughout Teyvat, and players will more than likely have amassed several dozen by the time they reach Adventure Rank 10.
Liben, as seen in the image, will be standing directly in front of the Dawn Winery entrance. Dawn Winery unfortunately lacks its own teleport waypoint, but players can find it directly under Wolvendom, home of Razor and Wolfhook berries. As was the case with the first two days, in case of foraging emergency, the ingredient that Liben asks for can be found in his general vicinity, too.
Completing his request will allow players to claim a Box o’ Marvel, so players who’ve been helping Liben will now have three total Boxes o’ Marvel to open. As of now, they all seem to contain some combination of upgrade materials, and Primogems, the premium currency in Genshin Impact. and It’s also worth reminding Travelers that Liben doesn’t reward a Box itself, he rewards a “chance” to open a Box. Players can stack their “chances” and open their Boxes o’ Marvel by interacting with Liben on any day of the Marvelous Merchandise event. That being said, once he leaves on November 2nd, players will be unable to claim a Box o’ Marvel until he returns (if, he returns.)
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for Switch.
