Bright Memory: Infinite Reveals Gorgeous New Screenshots

With the Xbox Series X’s release just over a week away, fans are more excited than ever to hop into some of the next generation’s biggest experiences. From Halo Infinite to Fablethere will be some huge games coming to the console over the next few years, however, there’s one title that’s currently soaring under the radars of many.

Bright Memory: Infinite, the action-packed hack and slasher crossed with a first-person shooter from FYQD-Studio, will also be available on the Xbox Series X next year. With the game chugging along to its 2021 release date, the studio has seen fit to release some gorgeous new screenshots showing off more of the game’s visuals, sci-fi world, and brutal combat.

The first shot released by FYQD highlights the strange world Bright Memory: Infinite is set in. Framed down the sights of a machine gun, it shows two sword-wielding warriors kitted out in full knight’s armor staring down the player. It seems Bright Memory will be set in a peculiar alternate universe, with its setting mixing both science-fiction and medieval influences. The second screenshot depicts a grisly scene, as the player, wielding a large katana, cleaves the head off an armor-clad foe. If the shot shows anything, it appears the game will appear to have some notably gory kill animations to go along with its focus on sword-play, allowing players to dismember enemies.

The third image depicts a similar scene to the first, except this time showing the game’s protagonist in third-person. A lot of the buildings in the environment appear to replicate Chinese architecture, while the soldiers in this image are far more in-line with the game’s futuristic setting than the armor-clad foes seen in the first shot. Finally, the fourth image showcases the game’s protagonist facing down a staff-wielding opponent, with the enemy charging down the player as they wield a handgun. All in all, Bright Memory: Infinite looks stunning, with the 4K visuals shown off in the screenshots looking worthy of the upgrade in hardware.

Bright Memory: Infinite will allegedly take place in a futuristic metropolis, with players assuming the role of an agent tasked with investigating a strange phenomenon occurring in the skies. This mission will unravel a strange mystery, with FYQD hinting that it will involve two worlds colliding. The game is the vision of one passionate developer, Zeng Xiancheng, who will release the game on the Series X in 2021. It already looks to be one of the console’s biggest shooters and a stunning example of what the Xbox Series X can do.

Bright Memory: Infinite will be available on PC and Xbox Series X in 2021.
