BTS to Play Fall Guys on Its Web Series | Game Rant

In the next episode of their web series, Korean pop idols BTS will be playing Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout along with Korean esports team T1.

As a way of connecting with and offering more content to its fans, BTS hosts an online variety show known as Run BTS! A comedic behind-the-scenes of sorts, Run tasks the members of the hit Korean boy band to go against each other in fun challenges and quirky activities. The show goes on even when BTS is busy touring the world in concert series and the production team will often use their new locations as elements in the lighthearted games.

In the November 3rd episode of Run BTS, the band met the Korean esports team known as T1 that would be playing alongside them in the new competitive video game series called “League of No. 1.” After starting with name-learning games and the Korean version of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” on episode 114 of the web series, T1, known for their successful placement in League of Legends Championships, will be playing Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout alongside BTS in episode 115.

Episode 115 of Run BTS will release on November 10th and can be watched on the apps Weverse of VLIVE, platforms that Korean pop artists often use to connect with their fans through videos and livestreams. For avid followers of the League of Legends team, they can also use these apps to watch BTS hilariously play the MOBA game with T1 in episode 114.

It’s not often to see BTS playing video games as their activity on Run, but recently, the Korean artist played the old Gang Beasts. It must have been practice to go up against the professional esports team because the next episode of Run BTS will have them playing the silly multiplayer fighting game again, sometime before or after they participate in some chaotic rounds of Fall Guys.

While the group has limited free time due to their hectic schedules as international pop idols, some members of BTS are avid gamers. Jin, the oldest member of the group, enjoys playing online games like League and MapleStory, especially with his fans. And Jungkook, the youngest member, has been known to avidly play Overwatch in his downtime.

Some fans are speculating if this is a publicity stunt to get more people back on the Fall Guys hype train, similar to the fan reaction that BTS saw when the kpop group premiered the choreography version of the “Dynamite” music video on Fortnite. Though that was seen as an odd mix, BTS fans (known as ARMY) are excited to see the seven band members play the fun and silly Fall Guys next week.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is out now for PC and PlayStation 4.
