Fans became aware of a new entry in the Drawn to Life series after its existence was leaked through a listing by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee last month. Since then, fans have been waiting for the game’s inevitable announcement, and earlier today it was made official.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices in just over a month’s time, debuting on December 7. The upcoming release was announced via a brand new trailer, which showed off some of Two Realms’ gameplay and shared details about its launch.
The trailer makes it very apparent that the unique style of gameplay that made the prior Nintendo DS entry tick returns once again, with the player able to fully customize their hero and other aspects of the world. It seems the new game will bring with it a fresh story and environments to explore, as well as other updates to the franchise’s gameplay. In spite of its upgrades, it still looks to offer the same brand of personalized family fun that made the series a success.
For those who’ve never heard of the Drawn to Life franchise, it was first established back on the DS in 2007. It saw players interact with levels by designing various objects using the console’s touchpad, allowing them to draw platforms, weapons, and even their hero character. It went on to spawn a sequel and a SpongeBob SquarePants–themed spinoff, however, this will be the first entry since the 2000s.
Drawn to Life: Two Realms will be available for Mobile, PC, and Switch on December 7.
