Normally, day one patches fix last-minute content before the game officially goes live. While several multiplayer content updates are already being listed in the future, many fans are looking towards the campaign in excitement. It is possible that the day one update repairs campaign content as the game’s story was not included in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Alpha and Beta.
Once the game launches, most fans are predicting that it will fall into the Tuesday patch pattern that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty Mobile, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 have all been following. While assorted updates are released throughout the week, Tuesday seems to be exclusively reserved for major patches and game announcements through the Activision blog.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to launch on November 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
