Last week, Epic Games launched a batch of XP Xtravaganza challenges in Fortnite, giving players the chance to make some further progress on the Season 4 Battle Pass. These are not to be the only XP Xtravaganza challenges, though, as more are set to go live this Thursday, November 12. For those players that may need assistance with some of these new Fortnite challenges, full details can be found in this guide.
To note, the vast majority of these Fortnite XP Xtravaganza Week 2 challenges have multiple stages. However, no more than one stage of a challenge can be completed per match, which means that players will need to participate in quite a number of matches before everything is said and done.
While the first of Fotnite‘s XP Xtravaganza Week 2 challenges does unfold across three-stages, they are all functionally very similar, requiring players to simply locate shotguns and deal damage with them. Notably, damage dealt to Stark Robots and Doom Henchmen does count for this challenge, and indeed targeting those AIs may be the path of least resistance.
This is a very straightforward challenge, and players should have little trouble finding the designated weapons and getting the requisite eliminations. That said, some fans may find securing eliminations with Common weapons to be slightly tedious. Fortunately, players can make that stage easier by knocking down their opponents with one of the best guns in Fortnite and then pulling out their Common weapons for the killing blow.
As with the first challenge, the three stages of this one have identical instructions. To complete these stages, fans should reference the following map, which highlights the locations of all of the Choppas in Fortnite. Once a player has obtained a vehicle from one of these locations, they should then fly it to an area where AIs gather, such as a Quinjet crash site, and deal some damage.
Players that are looking for a good spot to tackle the three stages of this Fortnite fishing challenge are advised to head to the small island northwest of Craggy Cliffs. Here fans can find basic fishing rods for stage one, an upgrade station that will allow them to craft a Pro fishing rod for stage two, and a motorboat that can be used for stage three.
The first step to completing this challenge is to locate some gas cans, and those can be found in many places, including the shacks surrounding the lake in Fortnite‘s Upstate New York. Next, the player that will throw the gas cans should get some elevation using platforms that they have constructed or the natural terrain. They should then throw the cans from this height while their teammate shoots at them from below.
While this challenge may ultimately not go live on Thursday, it is easy enough to complete if it does show up. Fortnite fans should simply head to Homely Hills north of Doom’s Domain and consume the many cabbages that can be found there.
Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
