Destiny 2: How to Get No Time to Explain | Game Rant

Long-time fans of the Destiny franchise will recognize the No Time To Explain Exotic pulse Rifle. The first appearance of the No Time To Explain was back in Destiny 1, and many who loved the gun five years ago want to nab it again. But getting this exotic isn’t easy, and it won’t be available to everyone.

The No Time To Explain’s main draw will be returning in Destiny 2; this exotic pulse refunds precision shots, helping precision players to keep their ammo stacked high. In Destiny 2, it also with return shots against Stasis element enemies. This effect stacks to give players an Arc-Souls-like temporal orb. It’s not the only exotic returning from the first Destiny, but it is one of the few that is limited in the way players can pick it up.

Getting the No Time To Explain is not challenging, but the road to get one is long. First, players have to have purchased the Deluxe Edition of Destiny 2: Beyond Light or the Standard Edition and the Season Pass bundle. If players preordered the Deluxe Edition, they will get a No Time To Explain Exotic Ornament as well.

As long as players have the correct edition of the newest expansion, they’ll next have to complete the entire Beyond Light story campaign. Once the campaign is completed, talk to the Exo Stanger on Europa, who will give the player both the No Time To Explain exotic pulse rifle and the Catalyst.

While most players who are planning on sticking with Destiny 2 for the long haul have probably purchased the season pass, not everyone has the means to grab it for themselves. Thankfully, Bungie almost always includes a second way to grab weapons. Usually players just have to complete missions or spend some sort of in-game currency, like perhaps the Bright Dust currency that Beyond Light upended. Most likely, Bungie will add an in-game way to grab a No Time To Explain without the pass. Until then, only the season pass holders will be wielding this old-school exotic.

But not to worry, there are still several nostalgic weapons that can be had without the season pass or spending real money. For example, the Destiny 1‘s Hawkmoon will also be making a return soon, and it requires only a quest-chain completion to get.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
