A fan has created a pretty neat piece of artwork that revolves around two very different but popular video games; Among us and Dragon Age. Among Us is one of the surprise games of 2020, while Dragon Age hasn’t seen an entry into the franchise since 2014. But that’s not stopping one Twitter user from bringing the two together.
Twitter user @apudpir8 created an image that shows the now-iconic “Crewmate” screen from the game. All of the members, however, are donning hats, clothes, and hair from Dragon Age. Fans are patiently waiting for Dragon Age 4, a title that is currently set to release in 2022, which is 8 years after the most recent entry.
This certainly isn’t the first time a fan has created something involving the who-dun-it game, as recently a fan even created an Among Us lock screen for a phone that matches the game perfectly. Fanart and crossovers, often are created when a game finds the success that Among Us has. Fans have made crossovers for Fall Guys. Halo, Overwatch, League of Legends, and more. This Dragon Age one is just the next addition to that list, albeit one with a pretty unique style. Video game crossovers have become more prevalent in the industry, whether in-game like in Super Smash Bros. or created by fans with art.
The popularity of Among Us is staggering. The game was released back in 2018, but it has now become a huge hit a couple of years later. Among Us was October’s most downloaded mobile game, and it has seemed to stretch beyond just gaming culture and into pop culture.
Among Us is available now on mobile and PC.
