During their travels through England, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are likely to come across Standing Stones puzzles. These require the player to use Odin’s Sight to see marking hidden on pillars, finding the right angle to line them all up and form a specific symbol. These can be very difficult at first, especially if players let themselves get distracted by unnecessary markings.
For the Seahenge Standing Stones puzzle, these unnecessary markings are abundant. Because of this, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla challenge can take some players a really long time to complete, but those that know where to look can do it in a matter of seconds.
Because of the visual nature of these puzzles, it can be very difficult to describe in words exactly where the player needs to stand. Nevertheless, the Seahenge Standing Stones puzzle is one of the easier ones to describe, so players shouldn’t have any issues completing this challenge.
The first thing players need to do is locate the Seahenge Standing Stones. These can be found in the northeastern corner of East Anglia, right at the point where the Wensum River drains into the sea. After finding the stones, players will notice a pillar with a symbol on it. Examining this will give the player some details about what the symbol means as well as show them a clear picture of what it looks like. Now, using Odin’s Sight will reveal markings on the surrounding area that must be aligned to formulate this symbol.
The narration about the symbol is part of a much larger narrative in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it isn’t necessary to understand in order to complete the challenge. Trial and error will work eventually, but there are a lot of markings that aren’t used to create the symbol. As such, the proper place to stand to align the symbols can be found to the left of the stone. A small outcropping juts out of the water to the left of the main stone, and players need to stand behind it while using Odin’s Sight. Align the markings on that outcrop to line up with the rest in the area and the puzzle should be completed.
Completing this puzzles will fill out the mysteries bar for this region even more, and should also award the player with some skill points they can use to further expand Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s massive skill tree. The solution itself is really easy, but figuring it out just from what the player is given can be a time consuming and difficult endeavor, especially for the first few Standing Stones puzzles.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
