Ever since the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla several weeks ago, the game has received mostly positive reviews, with players getting lost in its vast open-world environment. Of course, with all the features and gameplay mechanics that are jam-packed in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players may find themselves getting overwhelmed, especially in upgrading Eivor’s weapons and armor.
The first step in upgrading Eivor’s armor is to collect various materials and resources including fabric. Like most RPG titles, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla requires players to gather resources themselves before they can upgrade. Unlike other resources in the game that can be purchased through Gunnar, Fabric can only be found via looting, and for those having trouble finding it, here is a quick guide detailing how to find fabric easily.
Luckily, fabric is found in smaller chests all around the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s open-world environment, which means that players must explore the game and loot every chest they encounter. Players can also find fabric in larger chests during Raids, so it is important to embark on every single raid opportunity to acquire valuable resource materials such as fabric. Typically, fabric comes in smaller quantities that are bundled alongside other resources. Still, it is recommended that players take whatever they can find even if they do not currently have a use for it.
To the uninitiated, fabric is used to upgrade Eivor’s quiver, ration pouch, and some apparel pieces, making it one of the most valuable resources in the game, especially at the very beginning. As previously mentioned, the only way to obtain fabric is through looting. Gunnar the Blacksmith doesn’t offer it in his items for sale, which is why looting every chest and embarking on every raid opportunity is essential to obtain this valuable material.
Meanwhile, it appears that the corrupted save issue still lingers in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is obviously problematic for players who are already far into the game. However, Ubisoft has since acknowledged the save data issue and revealed several days ago that a patch is coming soon. At the moment, it is still unclear when Ubisoft will release the much-needed fix for the game. Still, given its heavy implications on the overall gameplay experience, it is likely to come soon, especially since Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has the potential to be a massive hit on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which is already available in select territories.
