Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Data Reveals Best Weapons and Attachments

A breakdown of the data in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has revealed the strongest weapons in the game, analyzing stats such as true damage, time to kill, and more. The in-depth research was done by YouTuber “TheXclusiveAce”, who has manually evaluated every weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been praised for the ability to access advanced statistics for each of the weapons in the gunsmith, allowing players to access more information than ever before about each individual weapon. Being able to toggle through detailed data for each of the guns gives players more insight than ever before – and with Activision patenting sharing classes on social media, player classes are going to be more competitive than ever. However, while useful, the accuracy and value of these stats have come into question. Now thanks to the deep analysis from “TheXclusiveAce”, we now know for sure the best raw damage and the best TTK guns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Customization is king in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – players are even able to add a Dorito tag on guns – so although the MP5 was a staple in most players’ loadouts at launch in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, since the SMG nerf, Tactical Rifles have been dominating the scene. This is likely due to their now confirmed TTK, which for the most part is head and shoulders above the rest of the weapons in the game. While their bullet velocity and rate of fire aren’t spectacular, the M16 and AUG reign supreme for the best TTK in the game at 132 and 154 milliseconds apiece. Interestingly, the KSP 45 SMG also boasts an incredibly high TTKl at 166ms, while also coming with the best bullet velocity of any gun in the game.

High damage weapons are vital for getting kills on enemies who might already be tagged, making it possible to take someone out with one or two bullets. Keeping that in mind, high damage weapons are definitely important to consider when looking to take out low health players. For SMGs, the KSP 45 leads with 50 damage per bullet, while for the Assault Rifles the AK-47 comes in at 38 damage per bullet.

Of course, most players in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War won’t just be after damage and fast TTK weapons. For a lot of players being able to move throughout the map quickly is important, so ADS speed, Sprint Out time and base movement speed are all factors to take into account when picking a gun.  The best ADS speed of any primary weapon in the game is the Milano 821, which without attachments comes in at around 250ms. The Milano 821 has one of the fastest Sprint Out times, tied for first with the MP5 and the Bullfrog at 233ms. SMGs also come with the fastest movement speed in the game, tied with Shotguns and Sidearms.

There are so many choices to make and factors to consider that even recoil in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is essential to understand. Players will enjoy being able to min-max their classes, however, meaning the more data they have, the better. These are just some of the details players will be able to use from the analysis done by “TheXclusiveAce” – there’s definitely more to be unpacked from the in-depth breakdown.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
