Animal Crossing: New Horizons has spawned a variety of themed accessories and merchandise. From the AC:NH-themed Switch Console to shoulder bags, cell phone covers, and pro controllers, players can find the series’ signature green leaf on just about anything. Now, SanDisk is selling Animal Crossing: New Horizons memory cards for the Switch.
Recently, SanDisk has revealed both Super Mario– and Zelda-themed microSD cards, designed to be used with the Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite Consoles. The yellow Mario SD card features a Mario star, while the red Mario SD card has a little mushroom. The Zelda-themed cards are white with golden Legend of Zelda logos on them.
Now, SanDisk has a Game of the Year Nominee Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed microSD card that ranges in storage sizes from 64GB to 512GB and will be available for either $30 or $120. The card is Nook teal and features the Animal Crossing leaf logo.
In-game, players can expand their Animal Crossing: New Horizons home storage, and with these MicroSD cards, they can also expand how much space is available on their Nintendo Switch. The internal storage for games, apps, saved info, and screenshots is incredibly small on the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, so having an SD card is almost a necessity. This will add even more Animal Crossing flair to gamers’ lives, along with the Nook lineup of sweaters and slippers and the other selection of adorable AC merch.
