Before a player dives deep into World of Warcraft‘s Shadowlands expansion, they may want to establish the professions that they will use while working their way toward the new level cap. In some cases, doing that will require a trip to a new profession trainer, though some fans may not be clear on exactly where to find these NPCs in the Shadowlands. For those players that are looking for a Shadowlands Herbalism Trainer in particular, this guide is here to help.
To put things simply, World of Warcraft fans can find an Herbalism Trainer in the Hall of Shapes in Oribos, Shadowlands’ hub city. In fact, trainers of all types can be found in this area, and players will be transported to Oribos directly after making their way through the earliest stages of the expansion. As such, players that want to train Herbalism but are still in the Maw should just continue progressing through the campaign until they are able to leave.
Once a player has reached Oribos and has been trained in Shadowlands Herbalism, they are then ready to get out there and start gathering. In total, there are six herbs that fans will encounter during their time with the expansion, and they are Rising Glory, Marrowroot, Vigil’s Touch, Widowbloom, Death Blossom, and Nightshade. Notably, the first four of these herbs are assigned to only one Covenant zone each, while the last two can appear in any one of them.
Of the four Covenant zones, WoW‘s Bastion and Ardenweald are perhaps the best options for those players that are looking to level their Shadowlands Herbalism quickly. That is because both of these zones feature wide-open areas, making them very conducive to gathering. Additionally, many of the mobs in these zones are neutral, especially in Bastion, which makes it possible for fans to collect herbs without much interference from enemies.
Fans can also expedite the Herbalism grind slightly by enchanting their gloves with Shadowlands Gathering. As some players are likely to expect, this low-level enchantment increases gathering speed in the Shadowlands, and it requires only three Soul Dust to perform. This means that it is quite easy to apply Shadowlands Gathering to a pair of gloves, and fans that ask around in one of the major cities in World of Warcraft should have little trouble finding an Enchanter that can help them be more efficient in their herb gathering.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
