Call of Duty: Warzone Streamer Wins Match Despite Dying

When it comes to the final circle in a match of Call of Duty: Warzone, things do not always go as planned. Weapons, skill, and tactics help determine who comes in first place each match, but sometimes luck can be the determining factor. This streamer got extremely lucky as they barely escaped death and achieved an unexpected Call of Duty: Warzone victory.

There are several strategies that many players employ when confronting the final circle in Call of Duty: Warzone. A common tactic is to skirt along the edge of the zone while deploying a cluster strike or precision airstrike to drive enemies from cover. While many times this works, players tend to forget just how small the final zone is.

The clip was taken from Call of Duty: Warzone pro its_iron and posted to YouTube in a compilation of Call of Duty highlights. In the clip, its_iron is taking on an enemy in the final circle of the match. The pro player is busy driving around in a truck when suddenly an enemy airstrike knocks him down. Rather than using his self-revive, he decided to admit defeat as the enemy player had rightfully downed him. Several seconds later, the second half of the airstrike dropped in, and its_iron was greeted with a victory screen. It was not until his chat explained to him what had happened that he realized the truth about this unexpected victory.

Call of Duty: Warzone streamer its_iron was surprised as his chat explained that the enemy accidentally killed themselves with the same airstrike that originally downed him. At first, he had no idea what had happened, but then met the news with laughter and disbelief.

Rather than celebrating his Call of Duty: Warzone win, he instead took a humble note and declared that his opponent deserved that win. However, the game decided the winner of the match, giving the professional Warzone player his 2,470th win since the game has launched.

His admittance of defeat is a nice break from the frequent Call of Duty toxicity among the game’s community. Rather than raging out, as some Call of Duty streamers do, he was very polite and humble about the entire encounter. Many fans that follow him appreciate his calm and chill attitude as he shows that even a professional can sit back and enjoy the game that they know and love.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
