World of Warcraft: Shadowlands – Sanctum Reservoir Locations (All Covenants)

Once a player has reached, Level 60, picked a Covenant, and started the Home Improvement quest in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, they will be able to upgrade their Sanctums in a variety of ways. These upgrades are performed through a Sanctum Reservoir, and indeed the location of this Reservoir is different for each Covenant in Shadowlands. For those players that may be having some trouble finding their Covenant’s Sanctum Reservoir in World of Warcraft, this guide is here to assist.

To start, it is worth mentioning that Sanctum Reservoirs in WoW‘s Shadowlands expansion are not objects to be interacted with and are instead accessed by speaking with NPCs. Specifically, these are the NPCs that assist with the aforementioned Sanctum Upgrades, and they are quite clearly marked by their nameplates. That said, here are the exact locations of the Sanctum Upgrade NPCs for each Covenant, and they will be happy to open Sanctum Reservoirs to those in need:

  • Kyrian Sanctum Reservoir: 42.6 52.4 (Elysian Hold)
  • Necrolords Sanctum Reservoir: 52.7 38.3 (Seat of the Primus)
  • Night Fae Sanctum Reservoir: 38.6 55.3 (Heart of the Forest)
  • Venthyr Sanctum Reservoir: 55.7 25.9 (Sinfall)

There are a couple of things that World of Warcraft players can do once they have spoken with one of these NPCs and accessed their Sanctum’s Reservoir. First off, fans can convert any Anima items that the have earned into Reservoir Anima, which can be used to perform Sanctum Upgrades. These Anima items can be earned through the completion of activities like World Quests, and they can be converted by clicking Deposit from the Sanctum Reservoir interface.

The other thing that players can do when accessing the Sanctum Reservoir is actually perform upgrades, as has been said previously, and those focus on four different areas. More specifically, fans can use Sanctum Upgrades to unlock and improve the Anima Conductor, Transport Network, Covenant-specific activity, and Command Table in Shadowlands, but those upgrades are not without their costs. Indeed, players must spend Reservoir Anima and Redeemed Souls to improve their Sanctums, and they should consider their options carefully.

This careful consideration is recommended because the rate at which fans can obtain Redeemed Souls in Shadowlands has a weekly cap. Initially that cap will be five Redeemed Souls per week, though players can increase that amount by raising their Renown and improving their Sanctum’s Soulkeeper. Even still, fans will be earning this endgame currency in limited quantities, and they should be wary of spending it without good reason.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
