During their time with Cyberpunk 2077, players will discover that there are numerous ways that each situation will be handled. Depending on which attributes players increase, they can craft different playstyles with the game’s cybernetic enhancements and equipment mods. For those looking for a way to punch their enemies into submission, there’s no better option than the legendary Gorilla Arms Cyberware.
Cyberpunk 2077 places a heavy emphasis on Cyberware like the Gorilla Arms, and it’s clear to see why. These weapons are powerful and dependable, and they look awesome as well. Though players may have already come across lower rarity variants ot he Gorilla Arms, the legendary ones pack an even greater punch.
For starters, these weapons can be purchased from a Ripperdoc in Heywood, but players will need to meet some steep requirements first. The Ripperdoc won’t sell them to V unless the player has reached 45 Street Cred, and even then they will put the player back 100,250 Eurodollars. Thankfully, there are some useful tips to make money fast in Cyberpunk 2077.
The Ripperdoc in question is located on the far west end of Heywood, and there’s a fast travel point right next to it. Look around and locate the large, yellow, neon sign with the words “Mac N’ Cheezus” on it and then head underneath it to the right. Inside this area players will find Doc Ryder, the same Ripperdoc that sells Tranquilizing Rounds for the Projectile Launch System. Talk to him and navigate over to the trade page. Assuming players meet the above requirements, they can then buy the Legendary Gorilla Arms
Though stronger, the Legendary Gorilla arms don’t have any additional effects. They will still allow players to force open doors and rip turrets off, and they maintain their signature ability of charging up damage with each consecutive hit. The Legendary version will do more damage, apply more bleed, and will have more potential for modding and attachments. It is certainly an investment and players won’t be able to make this upgrade until they’ve spent quite a bit of time exploring Cyberpunk 2077‘s many side jobs, but it is well worth it.
Players also have other options for their arms Cyberware, including the iconic Mantis Blades, the Projectile Launch System, and the Monowire. All of these complement different playstyles, so players should consider the options when deciding what they want to work towards. This will ensure that players don’t spend too much money on something they don’t end up using.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and later on PS5 and Xbox Series X,
