In order to buy this mod, players will need to find the Ripperdoc located in Pacifica, more specifically West Wind Estate. This is in the far southwest end of Night City, so players shouldn’t have too much difficulty finding it. For those that are familiar with how to use fast travel in Cyberpunk 2077, the West Wind Apartments fast travel spot is right next to this Ripperdoc shop. Head inside and talk to the Ripperdoc, navigate over to the trade menu, and locate the Epic Battery mod in his stocks.
This Ripperdoc appears to sell both the Medium Capacity battery and the High Capacity battery for the same price, so players wanting to increase their burst damage as much as possible should take care to purchase the High Capacity battery. Installing it will increase charge damage by 50% for the Monowire, adding a huge boost to the weapon’s already quick and deadly damage output. This seller also has the Epic Monowire Cyberware available for purchase, but players will need 25 street cred to get it.
For those players focusing their build around the use of the Monowire, this upgrade is a must have. Compared to some of Cyberpunk 2077‘s more expensive items, the price is really manageable, and the damage upgrade is certainly nothing to scoff at. Weapons may make powerful allies in Cyberpunk 2077, but a good mod can make all the difference as well.
