Only just releasing this past August, Fall Guys has had quite the incredible year. The obstacle course-styled battle royale game captured the hearts of many with its lighthearted, fun, and even frustrating gameplay, and just recently surpassed 11 million units sold on PC.
Now well into its third season, Fall Guys has kept players busy with new winter-themed levels, obstacles, skins, and more rewards. And following in the footsteps of other battle royale games such as Fortnite, the game has begun to reveal special collaboration skins coming to the in-game shop.
Coming fresh off of the release of a Ninja collaboration skin just a few days ago, Fall Guys has just announced a collaboration with popular YouTuber Mr Beast for a brand new skin. The official Fall Guys account broke the news on Twitter, even referencing Mr Beast’s new restaurant chain, Mr Beast Burger.
The tweet made this morning details that the skin will release in just a couple of days on December 26. Players will need to exchange 1 Crown for the skin’s top half and 1 Crown for the skin’s bottom half, being significantly more affordable that most other skins in the game, as expected of the ever-so-generous Mr Beast. The new skin appears to take inspiration from the YouTuber’s logo, which can be seen on the skin’s hoodie itself.
These new collaboration skins are the result of a pledge made by Fall Guys a while back, saying that whoever donated the largest amount of money to UK-based charity SpecialEffect would receive their own skin in the game. Since Ninja, Mr Beast, Aim Lab, and G2 Esports made a combined donation of $1 million, collaboration skins based on each donor are being released.
While these new collaboration skins are the result of a good cause, it certainly opens up the doors for more collaborations with Fall Guys. It will be interesting to see how many other collaboration skins players may see in the future.
