Call of Duty Mobile Season 13: How to Unlock Diamond Camo

Call of Duty Mobile has kicked off its thirteenth season, bringing lots of new content for players to play and unlock. One Season 13 addition made to Call of Duty Mobile is the arrival of Diamond camo, the much-requested mastery skin seen in every Call of Duty game since Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Players expecting an easy path to unlocking Diamond are out of luck, as Call of Duty Mobile developer TiMi Studios has made the path to the studded weapons a long and grueling endeavor. With the on-the-go FPS already including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Damascus camo in a mastery slot, players trying to get the Diamond skin for their weapons will have to do something different from the requirements seen in other Call of Duty games.

Call of Duty Mobile’s Diamond camo does not require that the gold camo has been unlocked for all weapons. Instead, players can unlock the camouflage pattern by getting a certain number of kills with every weapon. The kill counts vary depending on the category of weapon that players are working on, though fans should be warned that the process is time-consuming regardless of the weapon used. If players want to secure Diamond camo, they will need to reach the following kill counts with each weapon:

  • For each Assault Rifle, players will need to complete 150 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (1500 kills total)
  • For each SMG, players will need to complete 120 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (1200 kills total)
  • For each Sniper Rifle, players will need to complete 120 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (1200 kills total)
  • For each LMG, players will need to complete 120 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (1200 kills total)
  • For each Shotgun, players will need to complete 120 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (1200 kills total)
  • For each Pistol, players will need to complete 80 matches, securing 10 kills in each with the weapon (800 kills total)
  • For each Melee Weapon, players will need to get 500 total kills for Diamond camo.
  • For each Launcher, players will need to shoot down 100 UAVs.

Clearly, this camo unlock is going to take a lot of work on the part of players — especially if they plan on getting every weapon Diamond. Call of Duty Mobile’s festive thirteenth season added plenty of new content to grind out the challenges on, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s version of Nuketown becoming playable. Still, even with new content to play on, fans are going to be sinking a lot of time into completing these lengthy Diamond challenges.

One advantage of the Diamond camo system in Call of Duty Mobile is that players can unlock the skin individually as opposed to it being a mass unlock for every weapon. This means that Call of Duty Mobile’s many players do need to use weapons they hate purely to unlock the Diamond camo for the weapons they love, a common occurrence in previous Call of Duty games. While the process for each gun is undeniably time consuming, it also allows for some welcome freedom by letting players continue to use the guns they love.

With Call of Duty Mobile constantly adding additional weapons like the QXR SMG, players will be grinding out Diamond guns for as long as they want to. With over 1,000 kills required for most weapon classes, players with Diamond weapons will be able to prove just how dedicated they are to the game.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now on Android and iOS mobile devices.
