Genshin Impact Fans Discover ‘Hypostatic Symphony’ Instant Healing Trick

The new year has already been an exciting one for Genshin Impact fans, as Version 1.2 of the game introduced not only Albedo, the alchemical swordsman, but also the entire Dragonspine region, and more recently, five-star character Ganyu. The latest update added Ganyu as the featured five-star summon, while also introducing several new events.

Travelers have been assisting a Treasure-Seeking Seelie lately, and while that event approaches its end, Genshin Impact has introduced yet another special in-game challenge. “Hypostatic Symphony” tasks players with defeating a new variation of the existing Hypostasis enemy, and rewards them with varied valuable materials like Primogems.

Players can still partake in the Lost Riches event, which ultimately rewards a mini-Seelie pet to all players, however, those looking for a more combat-forward challenge will likely be interested in the new Hypostatic Symphony event. Travelers have until the end of January to take on the event’s series of challenges, each of which will reward Primogems upon first completion. That being said, some players have been taking advantage of one rather unannounced part of the event.

Whenever a player enters a Hypostatic Symphony challenge, the game will automatically restore every party member to full health (including KO’d characters), and fill every party member’s Elemental Burst gauge to max capacity. Elemental Bursts are Genshin Impact characters’ form of “Ultimate Attacks,” so this added bonus is particularly convenient. Presently, players can teleport to the game’s Statues of Seven to (semi) freely restore HP to their fallen characters. However, the Statues have healing limits, and more importantly, lack the ability to restore Elemental energy. This makes the Hypostatic Symphony event a neat sort of bootleg Statue of Seven.

Travelers simply need to enter a Hypostatic Symphony challenge to trigger the restoration effect. Once healed, players can either finish the challenge, or exit through the pause menu. Exiting the challenge will allow players to re-attempt it whenever they’re actually ready, while still leaving them with the free HP and Elemental Burst gauge. And of course, players can enter these challenges from most anywhere, much like how most Statues of Seven are easily accessible.

Those hoping to take on a powerful boss or difficult Domain may want to consider taking advantage of this quick trick, as it would allow a Traveler to enter combat with four Elemental Burst attacks ready to fire. Needless to say, it also makes challenging the Pure Hypostases that appear in the Hypostatic Symphony event a bit less daunting.

Given that this isn’t a bug, players probably shouldn’t expect this small workaround to be patched before Hypostatic Symphony concludes. If miHoYo in fact leaves this feature as is, players. will be able to freely restore health and Elemental energy up until January 31st, when Hypostatic Symphony comes to an end.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
