Harry Potter: Wizards Unite trainers are currently busy racing around and battling as part of the January Adversaries event, but it’s never too early for players to start looking forward to the next event. This weekend brings the January Community Day, which means players are going to be able to enjoy a busy afternoon of features and bonuses as they work through some limited time research tasks to earn a bundle of powerful rewards.
The January 2021 Community Day event in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite takes place on Saturday, January 23 and is likely to be another very popular event in the mobile AR game thanks to some high value rewards and a fairly popular theme. The January event is all about King’s Cross Station, which means players can expect to see special 1km Portkeys that award Wonders of the Wizarding World Family XP and Platform 9 3/4 Sign Fragments in addition to the other features and bonuses.
As has become tradition over the last year, the January 2021 Community Day event will feature a list of event exclusive tasks and rewards that offer a nice collection of completion rewards for players who manage to work through the full list. The tasks aren’t particularly challenging this time around and players who are willing to log in early and spend a few hours in the game completing fairly normal activities during the course of the event window shouldn’t have any major problems reaching the end and unlocking those DADA books and the other rewards.

Use 7 Exstimulo Potions (any) – 1 Silver Key
Earn 975 Wonders of the Wizarding World Family XP – 2 Baruffio’s Brain Elixirs

Return 20 Foe Glass Foundables – 2 Strong Exstimulo Potions

Community Days continue to be a popular recurring event in Wizards Unite, just like they are in Pokemon GO, and manage to drive players to login for a long session for at least one weekend per month. It will be interesting to see what else the devs have planned for Wizards Unite in 2021 and what the remaining eleven Community Day events will have in store as they arrive throughout the rest of the year.
