One of the things that has made Spider-Man: Miles Morales such a hit, aside from successfully iterating on its popular PS4 predecessor for the next generation, are vibrant visuals that maintain the spirit of Spider-Man’s solid art direction. Soon, fans will be able to enjoy that art direction in greater detail, as an artbook focused on Insomniac’s latest Spider-game is just a few weeks away.
Fans might not be surprised to hear this, as it’s been known since October last year that Spider-Man: Miles Morales was getting an art book. However, this weekend Marvel announced across its social media channels that the book is now available for pre-order on publisher Titan Books’ website, priced at £29.99/$39.95.
Set to be released on February 16 in the UK and February 23 in the US, Spider-Man: Miles Morales – The Art of the Game will provide fans with a “lush” 192-page hardcover book that serves as a showcase for the “remarkable concept art and in-game renderings” designed by Insomniac with Marvel’s help. Included will be a slew of characters, locations, Spider-suits, and more “presented in all their incredible detail,” along with plenty of commentary from Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ artists and developers.
Being as Miles’ first solo outing ranks among the best launch games for the new console generation, a lot of fans will no doubt be excited to get a deeper look at its world. Better yet, it should help them get their Spidey fix while they wait for Insomniac’s next Spider-Man game.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available for PS4 and PS5.
