Call of Duty: Warzone Streamer TeeP Reveals How Many Times He’s Lost to Cheaters

The cheating problem in Call of Duty: Warzone has once again become a major topic of discussion, with the issue plaguing the game since launch but picking up steam in recent times. According to one prominent Call of Duty: Warzone streamer, cheating has led to several unnecessary losses.

Cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone has taken many forms, and all are frustrating. Whether it is through the use of invisibility exploits, the constantly returning Stim bug, or actual hacks like aimbotting, the popular battle royale game has become a haven for wrongdoers. While virtually every player believes cheating is wrong and shames the gamers that do it, there is still a small minority that continues to exploit the game — and sadly, they seem to have no trouble doing so.

Recently, Call of Duty: Warzone cheating had an impact on a $250,000 tournament, leading to a greater call for change than what has been seen in the past. As such, major streamers and professional players have commented on just how common cheating is, with the latest being TeeP. The popular streamer plays Call of Duty: Warzone more often than most, leading to many wins and losses. However, the number of times TeeP has been defeated illegitimately speaks volumes about Call of Duty: Warzone’s cheating problem.

Prompted by the return of the Stim glitch, which has made six appearances since Call of Duty: Warzone made its debut, TeeP revealed his total number of losses to cheaters. Having one of his mods keep track of these unfair moments, TeeP shared that he has lost a grand total of 1,182 games because of hackers and exploit users. Ending the post with a simple “lol,” the streamer’s frustration is clear, and the comments are filled with fans saying that the prevalence of cheating inside Call of Duty: Warzone is “insane” and “disturbing.”

With over 1,000 matches ending because of cheaters for just one player, it is hard to imagine the total amount of cheap losses that the entirety of Call of Duty: Warzone’s community has come across. TeeP’s stats not only show that the issue is not over-exaggerated in the slightest, but make it easier to understand why content creators like Vikkstar and Drift0r are stepping away from Call of Duty: Warzone. With aimbotters seen everywhere and the same high-profile bugs returning a half-dozen times, something needs to be done to improve the game.

Fortunately, it seems like Activision is trying, as 60,000 cheaters have been banned from the game recently. Several statements promising better anti-cheat software gave been released as well, though with similar things happening in the past, it remains to be seen if the issues will be fixed permanently.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
