Persona 5 Strikers PC System Requirements Revealed | Game Rant

Persona 5 is arguably one of the most popular releases in Atlus’s well-known Persona series. And this has proven to be true with the production of the series’ enhanced rerelease Persona 5 Royal and the upcoming title spin-off, Persona 5 Strikers. And now, with just a few weeks until the official launch date, Atlus and Sega have finally shared the PC requirements needed for fans to play Persona 5 Strikers on their desktop computers.

Fan anticipation about Persona 5 Strikers has slowly built up since the announcement, then release, of its original Japanese counterpart, Persona 5 Scramble. Made available in Japan in February 2020, fans clamored for a Western release, which they were granted, albeit close to a year later. Part of the delay was attributed to a need for local English translation, which experienced production struggles due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the game’s official Steam page, the minimum and required PC requirements have already been outlined for fans to determine whether they can run Persona 5 Strikers on whatever desktop machine or laptop they currently have. Pre-orders are also already available, and fans can purchase a digital deluxe version that will allow them to play the game 4 days earlier than the public launch.

For minimum requirements, Persona 5 Strikers will require at least an Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD FX-6350 CPU, with a minimum GPU of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB). The game only needs 6 GB RAM of memory and will take up 10 GB of available space. All this needs to work together with Windows 8.1 64-bit, and Version 11 of Direct X.

The recommended requirements for Persona 5 Strikers does not jump too far from the minimum specs, unlike the gameplay which takes the familiar turn based battles and turns them more into a hack-and-slash video game. For recommended specs, an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-8350 processor and up will work best, while the visuals will most likely render better with at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (2 GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB). Storage space required will double, with at least 20 GB of space needed, and 8 GB of memory will work well to ensure that the game runs smoothly without stuttering. The recommended operating system is Windows 10, 64-bit.

With 2021 being the 25th anniversary of the Persona franchise, Persona 5 Strikers seems to be opening hard for the cult-followed RPG series. As the actual anniversary date draws near, fans are hopeful that news of a Persona 6 is already in the company’s pipeline. Hopefully Atlus will not disappoint, and will sate fans with more announcements to celebrate such a grand milestone.

Persona 5 Strikers releases on February 23, 2021, for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
