GTA Online: Every Cayo Perico Vehicle, Ranked | Game Rant

The Cayo Perico Heist update for Grand Theft Auto Online brought new features for the game outside of the heist. It brought new clothing, radio stations, missions, and vehicles. Twenty new vehicles have been added so far in the update and there may be more to come.

Players can choose to purchase these new vehicles, but not all of them are that great. Players will recognize a few of them from the heist as vehicles that can be driven around the island, and some of them can be used as infiltration vehicles for the heist. It is always best to try a vehicle before buying it, but this is also a start.

19 Winky, The Old Military Jeep

Probably the best name of a vehicle for the heist, the Winky is perhaps the worst vehicle added in the newest update. This vehicle can be tried out for free during the heist intel mission. Players will quickly realize that the Winky is extremely slow compared to many other vehicles. The customization options are alright with various gear that can be added to the sides and hood of the vehicle. The Winky also has poor handling compared to other vehicles. It is meant to go off-road, but it can’t handle offroading well without spinning out.

18 Longfin, The Sleek Speed Boat

Another boat speed boat has been added to this DLC that players are bound to not use. This speed boat, like the old ones, just doesn’t have many uses besides traveling out to the submarine or completing a mission here and there. Players who purchase it will quickly run out of enthusiasm for it unless they really love boats. One major downside to the Longfin is the larger turn radius and larger profile that the other speed boats just don’t have. It is the fastest of all the speed boats at least.

17 Vetir, A Military Caravan Vehicle

The Vetir is nothing to write home about. It has a decent top speed compared to other vehicles that can be found on Cayo Perico, but that’s about it. One of the worst things about the Vetir is that it needs to be called in from Pegasus. That is unfortunate, even with the new spawn points that Rockstar added around the map. This vehicle can’t be customized and doesn’t come with any special features. The only thing notable about it is that it handles better than most vehicles in the rain and can hold up to ten people.

16 Brioso 300, The Stylish Classic

The Brioso 300 is for devout followers of the Fiat. Fans of that car company will enjoy getting their hands on the Brioso 300, but there isn’t a ton to say about it. It has an okay top-speed but doesn’t compare to other vehicles like supercars. It has a few customization options, but it isn’t a large amount.

It was free for a limited time, but it will cost players who haven’t completed the heist around six hundred thousand dollars. This is a fair price for a car that can tend to be a little lackluster like the Vetir.

15 Verus, The Four-Wheeler

The Verus, like other vehicles on this list, doesn’t have a great number of customization options, but it does have a great bonus about it. Rockstar has made the Verus free for now. This is great for players who want to try out the new ATV. Unfortunately, that isn’t too much of a great incentive because it leaves the player vulnerable due to its lack of cover. This vehicle is also slower than most of the other vehicles. It does handle okay when taking it off-road, but it has a tendency to slide.

14 Weevil, GTA’s Beetle Doppleganger

Players who like the style of the Volkswagen Beetle will want to get their hands on the Weevil, a legitimate meme car. This new vehicle isn’t the greatest, but it gets the job done and is fun to drive. It has somewhat poor handling that will have inexperienced drivers flying off the road. This vehicle has some customization options that are pretty decent looking but nothing that makes it look amazing. It also has a lack of weapons, but that is to be expected from a vehicle like this. It has decent speed and is much faster than the Winky.

13 Slamtruck, The Fun Car Transporter

The Slamtruck gets a little bit of a higher place on the list because of the fun players can have with it. Backing up into oncoming traffic can cause a bunch of mayhem. Players can also have fun with the truck by having friends fly off the back of it. It has a decent speed but isn’t as fast as many other vehicles. The Slamtruck doesn’t have many uses besides some fun. It does have a fair number of customization options for players interested in purchasing the truck.

12 Veto Classic/Veto Modern

Both the Veto Classic and the Veto Modern are the same vehicle. They have almost the same stats with speed being the only slight difference between them. The other difference between the two go-karts in the game is the style.

The Veto Classic is more stripped down and resembles a go-kart from the 1960s while the Veto Modern represents a modern go-kart. These vehicles may not have a lot going on for them, but they are hilarious to drive and great to run from the cops with. When a player hits a curb with one of these vehicles, they tend to go flying.

11 Mammoth Squaddie

Here is another vehicle that is just overall lackluster. This is perhaps the fastest vehicle that can be driven around Cayo Perico, but that doesn’t mean it is good. It has better handling than other vehicles from the update and can hold a total of four people. This vehicle does have a decent number of customization options that can change the look entirely. It also gets a fair amount of liveries for players who enjoy military styles on their vehicles. This vehicle probably won’t find much use like previous mentions on this list.

10 Manchez Scout

Despite only being able to hold a single player, the Manchez Scout is great for players who like motorcycles. This is one of the few vehicles that can be test-driven around Cayo Perico. Players who take advantage of that will find that it is decent when traveling both on and off-road. It also has a fair number of customization options, but nothing that really stands out compared to other vehicles that are not from this DLC. It can be a fun vehicle to drive but might be best suited to the island.

9 Avisa, The 007 Way To Begin The Heist

The Avisa is one of the vehicles that can only be bought once a player purchases the Kosatka submarine. This Avisa resides in the moon pool of the Kosatka for whenever a player feels like taking an underwater journey. What makes this vehicle a little more worthwhile is the added underwater missions. The convenience of launching from the submarine for missions, like the Kosatka setup mission for the heist, is nice, but the Avisa isn’t very quick and can’t be customized except for the paint.

8 Itali RSX

The fastest of the vehicles that were added during the DLC. At least it is the fastest normal car that was added. This vehicle actually has a fair number of customization options that players can mess around with. The Itali RSX also has a good top speed like other supercars.

It is a shame Rockstar didn’t add more of them with this DLC, but perhaps they will add more in the future. Like other supercars, players who are looking for something armored should shy away from it since it can easily be destroyed.

7 Kurtz 31 Patrol Boat

Another boat that players may not use very often, but it does come with its benefit. The new Patrol Boat features multiple weapons like the stand-alone machine gun turret on the back and two mounted machine guns on the front. It can be useful during certain missions that take players out into the water and can easily take down pursuing helicopters. The downsides to the Kurtz are how slow it is and that it is a Pegasus vehicle. Rockstar might add more Pegasus spawning points but that is unlikely since they already did it once.

6 Weaponized Dinghy

The other weaponized boat that came with the DLC is the Weaponized Dinghy. Like the Kurtz, it offers a single machine gun that a second player can take advantage of. It doesn’t offer any other weapons like the Kurtz and can be a little lackluster in the damage department. It does have a much greater top speed hen compared to the Kurtz and speed is useful when escaping from a helicopter or other boats. Players who are interested in customizing the boat will be disappointed to know that it can’t be customized.

5 Alkonost, The Super Jet

The Alkonost is another jet added to the list that is already in GTA V, but it isn’t the best of them all. This jet is massive and takes up a large portion of a hanger. The Alkonost also doesn’t have many customization options. It has a few liveries for players to choose from, but that is about it. It does get placed higher on the list because it can be fun to use and great to mess with people. The Alkonost, like other jets, can drop fifty bombs and carries a capacity of fifty. It has four bomb types to choose from like explosive, incendiary, gas, and cluster.

4 Stealth Annihilator

The Stealth Annihilator is comparable to the other stealth helicopter in the game, the Akula. With there being one stealth helicopter in the game, there wasn’t much need for a second one. The Stealth Annihilator can be a little fun for players who love to fly.

This helicopter can be destroyed easily and can only take one rocket. It does get access to three different weapons like machine guns, barrage missiles, and homing missiles. As far as customization goes, players only get access to a few liveries to spice up the look of the Stealth Annihilator.

3 Toreador, The Premier Muscle Car

The Stromberg, wait, the Toreador, is the second submarine car that Rockstar has decided to put into GTA Online. It is basically like having the Stromberg with a different skin. The Toreador has a slightly better look to it along with very active tracking missiles that will hit targets most of the time. The Toreador also has the ability to fire torpedos while underwater and moves faster than the Stromberg. Players who have the Stromberg already may not feel the need to purchase this vehicle, but players who are trying to choose between the two should choose the Toreador.

2 Sparrow, The Industrial Chopper

The Sparrow is one of the best vehicles added through the update but will require a player to purchase the Kotsatka to get their hands on it. This helicopter can be launched from inside the submarine and can be used to make the heist setup missions go very quickly. The Sparrow can also be summoned directly next to a player through the interaction menu. Another bonus of this helicopter, besides the homing missiles that can be added, is the fact that it doesn’t cost the player anything when it gets destroyed. There is only a small wait time before the vehicle can be summoned again.

1 Kosatka, The Massive Submarine

Yes, the Kosatka is on this list because it can also be driven. Many players love to focus on the other aspects of the submarine. It can be used to fast travel around the map and complete the Cayo Perico Heist, but adventurous players will drive the submarine around. Another reason this vehicle gets placed high on the list is that without it, some of the other vehicles wouldn’t be able to be purchased. It can also get a guided missile attachment so players can have fun firing missiles at their friends and enemies. It is all around a great vehicle to mess around with.
