GTA Online NoPixel Roleplay Server Bans xQc Yet Again | Game Rant

The Grand Theft Auto Online NoPixel roleplay server is designed for players who want a deep and immersive roleplaying experience with others. Now in version 3.0, this server has contributed to Grand Theft Auto 5‘s rise to the top of Twitch over the past few months, with many famous streamers joining in on the action. One of these streamers is Felix “xQc” Lengyel, a former professional Overwatch player who has been banned before from Twitter, Twitch, and other platforms for several different reasons. xQc has already been banned once from the NoPixel roleplay server, and now he has received his second ban.

Whether it is xQc’s personality or playstyle when streaming, he seems to easily irritate other streamers. He was a pivotal member of the Rust OfflineTV server, which essentially turned into a giant blame game between streamers due to controversial play from xQc and other members. xQc quit the OfflineTV Rust server and decided to join the GTA Online NoPixel roleplay server soon after that. He wasted no time creating a persona that scammed other players and fled from the police after getting arrested. He was banned once for his behavior and then reinstated, but now he has been banned again.

This time xQc decided to take advantage of a glitch in Grand Theft Auto Online. This glitch allowed him to smuggle a gun into a police station, where he then started firing at officers. This of course falls under the Not Valuing Life section of the NoPixel server rules which specifically prohibits “having non-spontaneous shootouts at a PD” (police department). Another NoPixel server member, MOONMOON, was one of the victims of the shootout and has since called out xQc for breaking server rules on purpose to incite drama. xQc has since apologized for the effect his actions had on the server.

xQc’s previous ban from the Grand Theft Auto NoPixel RP server resulted from him breaking server rules by running over other characters with cars. Shooting up a police station or running over another character might not always be considered behavior that breaks server rules, but there have to roleplay reasons behind those decisions. The point of a roleplay server is for members to be in character at all times and play out individual stories in a realistic way. The veneer of roleplay can only work if every character agrees that the rules are sacred.

How all this will affect xQc’s participation in the NoPixel RP server is still unclear, but for now he will have some time to think on his roleplay decisions, or lack thereof. The NoPixel RP server may be just a game but it is an important experience for those involved. xQc has shown some class in the past when he suggested his Twitch viewers donate to smaller streamers, and it seems he could transfer some of that tact to his roleplaying.
