Fallout 4 Could Be Coming to Xbox Game Pass Soon | Game Rant

Earlier this week, Microsoft officially acquired ZeniMax Media, which includes its subsidiaries like Bethesda. This means that all of Bethesda’s games now fall under the Xbox umbrella, in turn giving Microsoft some big new titles that it can add to its Xbox Game Pass service. Specific Bethesda games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass haven’t been confirmed just yet, but new Microsoft Store listings may have let the cat out of the bag.

The Microsoft Store now has listings for PC versions of Fallout 4The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and The Evil WithinSkyrim is already on Xbox Game Pass, but the same can’t be said for Fallout 4 or The Evil Within. As spotted by Twitter user ALumia_Italia, these games are supposedly launching on PC this coming Friday, March 12. The assumption can then be made that these are some of the Bethesda titles that are coming to Xbox Game Pass this week.

When Microsoft announced that it had finalized the Bethesda acquisition, the announcement was sure to note that Bethesda games would be coming to Game Pass this week. Further details were not revealed at the time, but it does seem like a safe bet that these Bethesda games will be coming to Game Pass on March 12. Fans should still standby for an official announcement, however.

Bethesda and its games are going to give Xbox Game Pass a big boost, regardless of when they are added to the service. And in future, new Bethesda games should go a long way in bolstering the Xbox Game Pass service even further. All future Bethesda games (minus the ones that are PlayStation console exclusives like Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo) will be releasing on Xbox Game Pass on the same day that they launch.

What this means is that blockbuster Bethesda games like the sci-fi RPG Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass at no additional charge. These are the kinds of games that could very well convince new players to sign up for Xbox Game Pass, especially since the games will likely be accessible to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on PC as well as Xbox consoles.

Microsoft continues to make big Xbox Game Pass investments, and it looks to be paying off. The Bethesda acquisition should give Game Pass a massive boost, but there should be plenty of other big Xbox games coming to the service in future as well, with the upcoming Halo Infinite headlining the 2021 lineup.
