In Season 4, Fifa 21 Ultimate Team players have the opportunity to unlock several incredible cards. One of the best untradeable cards players can unlock this season is the MLS Squad Foundation Bojan. The 84-rated reward card has 82 pace, 82 shooting, 85 passing, and 87 dribbling. Bojan has the perfect attributes for an attacking midfielder in FUT, and will be a great addition to Spanish and MLS sides.
To unlock Bojan, FUT clubs will have to complete all of the MLS Foundations challenges. The challenges require that players score, assist, and win games while playing the FUT friendly: Managerial Masterpiece. Each of the challenges requires that each team have at least 7 MLS players on the team.
All of the objectives are listed below:
- Score 15 goals using MLS players with at least 7 MLS players in the starting lineup.
- Assist 15 using MLS players with at least 7 MLS players in the starting lineup
- Play 15 matches with at least 7 MLS players in the starting lineup
- Win 10 matches with at least 7 MLS players in the starting lineup
In addition to Bojan’s reward card, players will receive upgraded Long and Lima cards, as well as player reward packs. Both Long and Lima are low-rated cards with impressive statistics.
The three best non in form attackers in the MLS are Pavon, Martinez, and Vela. All three of the players have good pace, agility, and shooting attributes. Martinez and Pavon are both extremely quick attackers that will blow by opposing defenders. Vela is the most balanced attacker, with three stats in the 80s as an 83-rated player. Carlos Vela may have some trouble passing defenders with speed, but his dribbling, passing, and four-star skills make the card viable in FUT. The Mexican winger also has an unbelievably good record breaker card for players that can afford to spend 80,000 coins. Overall, the attackers in this team are quite good, and can even perform well in seasons. Teams could opt to use Nani instead of Pavon, but the card is quite slow for an attacking player.
Matuidi, Quintero, and Nagbe are all solid options in the midfield. While there are players with better passing attributes, the three midfielders have the pace and strength to frustrate opponents in the midfield. Matiudi will act as the de facto CDM with 83 defending while the other two push upfield. Nagbe and Quintero both have excellent pace and agility to make plays in the front third. Pizarro is a worthy replacement for one of the two cards for players that are having trouble completing short passes in the midfield. Pace still plays a significant role in Fifa 21, and unfortunately, that eliminates a number of great MLS midfielders from the team. FUT clubs will be dumbfounded by how well the trio performs together in-game.
Adnan and Cannon are the weakest links in the team. The two fullbacks are inconsistent for opposite reasons. Adnan is not quick enough at left-back, and Cannon does not have the defending or physical stats to knock players off the ball. Cannon will outpace opponents, but the card has horrendous dribbling stats. Clubs can decide to restructure the defense and create a hybrid team, or sub the two off if they are losing. Both Long and Opara are strong options with the pace, defending, and physical attributes to keep opposing attackers out of the box. Opara’s base card has 84 pace and 82 physical as a 75-rated card. Ike Opara is one of the best cheap defenders in the entire game. FUT clubs that have a lot of coins can go after Rulebreaker Opara, who is honestly one of the most broken cards in FUT 21.
There are no good options at goalkeeper in the MLS. Vermeer is a usable card, but Zack Steffen is slightly better. The United States product has good reflexes and all of the other relevant stats in the 70s. Steffen is by no means a great goalkeeper, but he is a serviceable option for the team. With a chemistry card, the goalkeeper will perform better than players assume in-game. FUT players can only hope that one of the MLS keepers gets an upgraded card sometime soon.
Nani and Pizarro are the best cards that did not make it into the squad. Nani just does not have enough quickness to be viable on the wing. Clubs should sub him into the midfield to take advantage of the card’s dribbling and passing. Pizarro could easily replace Nagbe, but his dribbling leaves something to be desired. Higuaín is another player that could be included, but with pace in the 60s, it is hard to justify starting the card. There are also a number of cheap in-forms that would have made the team, but many casual gamers are better off using the less expensive base gold cards.
