Tales from the Borderlands struck a chord with fans due, in part, to its cast of likable characters. Sasha is Fiona’s intrepid partner in crime as well as her kid sister. The siblings possess an extremely close bond with each other in a way that is not only endearing but at times also relatable.
As one of the game’s supporting characters, she plays a large role in the plot. Additionally, she serves as a potential love interest for the adventurous, but hapless Rhys. Tales from the Borderlands has a tremendous amount of dialogue. Thus, it’s not uncommon for players to miss a thing or two about Sasha along the way.
10 Her Relationship With Rhys Can Vary
Sasha is a potential love interest for Rhys in Tales from the Borderlands. The player’s decisions, while controlling Rhys, ultimately play a large role in how Sasha feels about him. Their relationship can be progressively strengthened or demolished completely by the game’s end.
Players who wish to encourage the blooming crush they share for each other should stick with honesty. Telling the sisters about the homicidal tyrant inside Rhys’s head is a perfect example. Additionally, having Rhys reject Handsome Jack’s offer to rule Hyperion matters significantly to Sasha. Doing the opposite of all these things will make her more aloof to his presence.
9 Wields An Atlas Silver SMG
The Borderlands franchise is well-known for its crazy variety of guns. The firearms are produced by a handful of different manufacturers such as Atlas, Dahl, Maliwan, and Hyperion. Sasha is a big fan of weapons and is positively ecstatic when she finds a very rare piece of equipment at the end of “Zer0 Sum.”
Beneath the Gortys Underground Facility lies a hidden treasure trove. Sasha is excited to find an Atlas Silver, a one-of-a-kind sub-machine gun. According to her, the Atlas Silver was never even released to the public, making it one of the rarest firearms on Pandora.
8 Can Acquire An Upgrade To Her Goggles
Each of the main characters in Tales from the Borderlands has their own unique aesthetic feature. Rhys has his ECHO-EYE and robotic arm, Vaughn wears glasses, and Fiona her signature hat. Sasha, for her part, possesses a pair of goggles that hang around her neck.
In “Catch a Ride,” it’s possible to update everybody’s look through the use of a Quick Change Station. If Fiona has managed to save up enough money, then it’s possible to give Sasha’s goggles an upgrade. For $400 the Z-R37 LookSpex can be purchased. The product’s description states that its usefulness may be debatable, but its coolness is unquestionable.
7 Makes A Pinky Swear With Rhys
Rhys and Sasha’s relationship evolves naturally over time. Initially, they’re quite wary of each other considering Rhys’s employment at Hyperion and Sasha being a native Pandoran. However, there are little moments throughout the story that can bring the two closer together.
One such instance occurs when the two of them infiltrate the death race in “Zer0 Sum.” Sasha will inquire about borrowing Rhys’s stun baton, an item that has already saved his life more than once. Rhys has the option of playfully asking Sasha if she will promise to return it to him. They will take part in a “pinky swear” that serves to illustrate their growing trust with each other.
6 Scanning Her Reveals Some Personal Details
One of the gameplay features unique to Rhys involves the use of his ECHO-EYE. During moments of exploration, Rhys can scan certain objects and individuals to reveal extra details about them. Scanning Sasha at various points throughout the game reveals a few tidbits about her personality.
For instance, her fashion style is described as “Bohemian Chic.” Her favorite book is reportedly “Chester the Chubby Varkid.” It can also be confirmed that Sasha’s age is 24 years old by scanning her. Her rap sheet, although not quite as long as Fiona’s, states that she should be treated with caution.
5 Can Optionally Flirt With Scooter
In “Atlas Mugged,” Sasha and Fiona’s caravan is in desperate need of repair. They travel to Scooter’s garage in Hollow Point, where Fiona is informed that the repairs will be quite expensive. Fiona can accept Scooter’s offer of a sponsorship in an effort to solve the impasse. If Fiona refuses, an alternative scenario triggers.
Sasha will enter the garage and pretend to flirt with Scooter. The tongue-tied mechanic becomes completely enraptured by her and changes his tune immediately. Some extra dialogue will then take place between Fiona and Sasha that won’t be heard if the former elects to take Scooter’s endorsement.
4 She Appears In A Photograph In Borderlands 3
Tales from the Borderlands contains a lot of choices, both major and minor. As such, it’s often difficult for this type of game to establish a hard-and-fast canon. Invariably, everyone’s experience playing the game will be slightly different. Borderlands 3, however, seemingly made one aspect of the story canon.
Atop Rhys’s desk in Borderlands 3 is a framed photograph of Sasha from “The Vault of the Traveler.” It implies that Rhys still has strong feelings for her, which may indicate the romantic route in Tales from the Borderlands is canon. A nearby ECHO recording also reveals that Zer0 has been searching for someone who could be Sasha on Rhys’s behalf, but has so far been unsuccessful.
3 Has Unique Dialogue Regarding Her Disguise
In “Escape Plan Bravo” Fiona and Sasha once again have the opportunity to swap out their clothing. The pair are about to infiltrate Helios and thus need proper disguises. Depending on how judicious Fiona has been with her money, some of the more premium options will be available for purchase.
Fiona can buy a standard-issue Hyperion uniform for Sasha, which won’t elicit much of a response. However, if Fiona decides to purchase the Onyx Overlord suit for her, some rather humorous dialogue will trigger later. When Sasha steps out of the Quick Change Station she will say, “Not bad. Makes me feel like I could drink the tears of a million dream-crushed orphans. I’ll fit right in at Hyperion.”
2 Felix’s Watch Means Something To Her
Sasha and Fiona’s longtime mentor Felix leaves behind two gifts for the siblings in “Atlas Mugged.” Fiona receives an upgrade to her pistol while, if the player decides to peek, Sasha gets an old pocket watch. The engraving on the watch cryptically states, “Time Heals All Wounds.”
The meaning of this statement isn’t revealed until the end of the final episode. When Sasha is near death the watch activates and saves her life, evidently containing some type of restorative healing properties. Interestingly, the photograph inside it shows Sasha holding the very same watch as a child, alongside a younger Felix.
1 Admits Fiona Is The Better Shot
Life on Pandora is quite difficult. It comes as no surprise that both Sasha and Fiona can handle themselves just fine when things turn sour. It’s clear from the first episode that Sasha holds a particular fascination with guns. Unlike Fiona, she possesses an unmistakable enthusiasm for them.
Nevertheless, some optional dialogue between them reveals that Fiona is actually the better shot. Sasha will admit this bit of information while exploring Felix’s safehouse in Hollow Point. It’s not a complete shock considering how handy Fiona can be with her faithful Derringer.
