Borderlands: 10 Awesome Tiny Tina Cosplay | Game Rant

Tiny Tina is a character that blasted her way into fans’ hearts in Borderlands 2. Her wacky antics, childish humor, and explosive personality were what made her so endearing.

That’s why Gearbox brought the character back in Borderlands 3. The unstable thirteen-year-old was made into an equally unstable but charming twenty-year-old.

Tina has come back with a whole host of cosplayers hoping to capture the character’s unique appearance and charm. These crafty people have stitched together costumes that resemble the character in either Borderlands 2 or 3, and some have gone the extra mile by creating stunning props and backgrounds for their photoshoots.

10 A Colorful Rocket Launcher

Tiny Tina is the demolition expert in Borderlands, so she loves anything that goes boom. Yet the character also loves tea parties and playing with dolls, albeit in a much more violent fashion than most children.

This cosplayer has combined these aspects of the character into a giant, hot pink rocket launcher. Fans of the series can imagine Tina drooling to get her hands on this explosive weapon.

The brilliant costume and props are by @marianashleycosplay who posts lots of similar pictures with other famous characters.

9 A Creepy Look

The world of Borderlands is quite a terrifying place, filled with psychopathic bandits and murderous robots. So, it’s no wonder that Tiny Tina was driven a little over the edge and turned into a character loved by fans.

This cosplay — by @rbf.cos — features the iconic look of the character from Borderlands 2, but the shadows and dark makeup near the eyes make her look deranged. The one-eyed bunny also adds to the creepy design, making Tiny Tina resemble something out of a horror movie.

8 A Very Big Missile

Many cosplayers like to flesh out their characters with some extra props, and this is no different. This cosplayer has done an incredible job of creating a missile that’s bigger than themself, along with a one-eyed bunny to go with it.

The cosplayer has also gone through the effort of making their costume and props cel-shaded, which closely mirrors the Borderlands franchise’s unique art style.

These are found on Instagram, where the cosplayer posts under the account @labinnak.

7 Bunny Ears And Cel-Shading

Cosplayers are a skilled group of people. Their craft goes a long way towards bringing fictional characters to life, and this case is no different.

This cosplay feature’s Tiny Tina’s Borderlands 3 look, complete with the bunny ears. The armor also has a skull with a B — indicating that Tina’s part of the Crimson Raider’s B-Team since the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC.

This costume is a true piece of art, and there’s a lot of detail that went into it, including all the cel-shading. This is of course by @labinnak who made the giant rocket in the previous entry.

6 Movie Magic

Cosplayers put a lot of effort into their craft, but their costumes are rarely as good as the original design itself. This is because the original designers have a lot more time and money to work with compared to cosplayers.

This costume, however, goes above and beyond most. Each piece of Tina’s armor looks perfectly made. The detail is absolutely stunning, and it looks better than a lot of actual film costumes. In fact, @kanonkuroy’s cosplay wouldn’t look out of place in the upcoming Borderlands movie.

5 Moxxi And Tiny Tina

Borderlands has a lot of memorable female characters, from Lilith in the first game to Maya in the second. Yet the two most notable of all these characters are Moxxi and Tiny Tina, especially since the player never gets to play as them.

One is a refined and alluring woman who’s been around since the first Borderlands game. The other is the insane and bomb-lobbing Tina. While these characters don’t have much in common, the cosplayers have done a wonderful job of bringing them to life alongside each other.

These cosplays are by the incredible @dariarooz (Moxxi) and @valerie_freshorangejuice (Tiny Tina).

4 A Colorful Smoke

This cosplay features Tiny Tina running around with a bomb in hand, spewing sparks and colorful smoke everywhere. The cosplayer does a wonderful job of capturing the character’s childish glee and excitement, especially towards explosives.

The costume itself is well-made, complete with all the little details that make up Tina’s outfit. It includes a cel-shaded band-aid on the nose, as well as Tina’s iconic bandit mask hanging off the side of her face.

This cosplay is by the incredible @ri.care, who also makes a lot of other cosplays.

3 Gangster Tina

In Borderlands, Tina’s the little kid who’s always trying to act tough and show all the damage she can do. It’s why she often takes on a pompous attitude and throws in some gangster lingo to try and sound threatening and cool. It’s part of her charm, and this cosplayer does a brilliant job of showing off that side of the character.

The costume is well made and includes some simple and cel-shaded parts. It does an excellent job of bringing the character to life.

The picture is by Rei La Roca and the cosplayer is Helimatra Cosplay.

2 Krieg And Tiny Tina

This cosplay features two of the most unique characters in Borderlands 2; Krieg and Tiny Tina. Both are complete psychopaths, with one being a bandit and the other being a thirteen-year-old.

This cosplay stands out because of all the props and gear that go along with it. The dynamite and weapons are a very nice touch, and they help capture the essence of the characters. The cosplayer’s expression is also a nice touch, as it shows the craziness behind Tiny Tina.

These pictures are by @thousand_faces_cosplay who posts other incredible cosplays as well.

1 Ruined World

The world of Borderlands is an incredible and chaotic place, and this cosplayer has captured it perfectly. Not only is the costume well-designed, but the cosplayer’s pose and expressions go a long way towards showing how truly insane Tiny Tina and her world are.

This is made all the more prominent by the fire and destruction in the background, which gives the image an overall incredible look. All of which is made better by the photo editing that went into it.

The image is attributed to one incredibly talented person, Kai Manaa.
