Doom Eternal‘s The Ancient Gods Part 2 features three brand new levels, the first of which is called the World Spear. As a player make their way through this stage, they will have the opportunity to pickup a number of secrets and collectibles. However, the locations of all of these objects may not be immediately obvious, and the video and descriptions that are featured below will help Doom Eternal fans grab anything that they may have missed on their first time through.
Extra Life 1: After clearing the area with the large fountain, players should head to the back-left corner and hit the skull switch that they find there. Fans should then return to the fountain, turn to the left, and enter the door that is flanked by green torches in order to collect Extra Life 1.
BFG Ammo 1: Players can find some BFG Ammo in the back-right corner of the area where the Whiplash spawns.
Extra Life 2: The second Extra Life in the World Spear is in the Stone Imp arena, and it can be accessed after gaining some height. More specifically, the Extra Life is inside of the large pipe that has water flowing from it, and players should work to jump into its opening.
Automap: In the open snowy area, players should jump across the gorge and take on the Cyber Mancubus that is on the other side. The map is just beyond that enemy, and fans should be able to easily collect it after dispatching the foe.
Extra Life 3/4: This is actually an Extra Life x2, and it is above a Grapple Point just past the Automap. To reach it, players will need to use the Grapple Point to gain some height and then dash back to the collectible.
Codex 1: This level’s first Codex is in the cave on the other side of the gap where the aforementioned Extra Life x2 is situated, and fans should simply jump across and collect it.
BFG Ammo 2: There is some more BFG Ammo not far from Codex 1, though reaching it can prove a bit challenging. Indeed, players must boost to the nearby Grapple Point to snag this secret, and they may very well need to make several attempts.
Escalation Encounters: There are Escalation Encounters that can be accessed just past the ice cavern with the respawning explosives. Players that complete the first wave will receive a Sentinel Hammer upgrade, and those that finish the second will earn a cosmetic.
Codex 2: The second Codex is the final collectible in the World Spear, and players will find it at the end of the level, in the middle of the circle that is created by the yellow figures.
Doom Eternal is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in development.
