Destiny 2: How to Get Fourth Mark Ship | Game Rant

It’s been four months since the release of Destiny 2 Beyond Light, the fifth expansion for Bungie’s sci-fi looter-shooter. The expansion opened with the Season of the Hunt, which introduced new locations, missions, and loot for Destiny 2 players.

One of the rarest loot items that was introduced in Beyond Light is the Fourth Mark, an exotic Jumpship. The Fourth Mark can only be obtained during the mission to hunt a Hive Knight known as the High Celebrant of Xivu Arath. Although it wasn’t shown as such at first, the Fourth Mark is actually a rare drop, and not guaranteed on completing the hunt.

In order to complete the Coup de Grace mission and earn the Fourth Mark, players first need to speak with the Crow in the Tangled Shore. Players will also need to purchase the Improved Seeker 2 Lure Upgrade. This requires a Reputation Rank of 7 with the Crow. Once players have the Lure, they’ll need to speak with the Spider.

Finally, players should attach the Prey Mod: High Celebrant to their Lures, and initiate the Coup de Grace quest from the Dreaming City’s map. Following the quest objectives will end with the High Celebrant spawning, beginning a multi-stage fight. Once the High Celebrant has been defeated the mission will be complete, but this doesn’t guarantee the Fourth Mark will drop.

Using extracted information from the site warmind.io, the Destiny 2 community on Reddit estimated that the Fourth Mark has a drop rate of around 1%. This caused a lot of confusion for fans when the Beyond Light expansion was launched, as the item was not listed as a rare drop.

This led a lot of players to believe that the Destiny 2 Jumpship was a guaranteed reward. As a result, Bungie received many bug reports saying that the ship had not dropped. However, not all of them were errors, as it does seem as if there was a bug interfering with the drop rate. These bugs should now be fixed, allowing players to safely farm for the Fourth Mark.

Although the ship begins with a 1% drop rate, Bungie has stated that this increases with each subsequent completion of the mission. Players can complete the mission once per week, per character. As a result, it can often take several weeks for players to actually earn the Fourth Mark from the Coup de Grace mission.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
