It Takes Two: All Minigames (And Where to Find Them) | Game Rant

From the minds behind A Way Out, It Takes Two is a similar adventure game that hopes to bring back classic couch co-op gameplay. Like many other adventure co-op games, It Takes Two has many mini-games for fans to practice their teamwork capabilities with others for fun.

In total, there are about 25 different co-op minigames in It Takes Two. Gamers can get to them by following the drumming sound in the levels and finding the tambourines with purple streamers. These games usually only take about a minute to complete, with most of them requiring quick button pressing.

While there isn’t any direct achievement for beating the mini-games, gamers get the satisfaction of beating their opponents. For fans who want to experience everything that It Takes Two has to offer, here are the mini-game locations.

This is one of the first mini-games players will come across in the Shed level. Halfway through the level, Dr. Hakim will force players to try it out.

This game can be found shortly after the Whack a Cody game. Once gamers complete the puzzle, go right down the pathway, and the mini-game should be down the hall.

After players make their way through the tree, they should eventually encounter a soccer ball. Turn left from the soccer ball, and the soccer minigame should be across the room.

To get to this, gamers need to complete the floating fish portion of the tree level and get dropped off onto the ground. The minigame will appear right in front of them when they are done.

Once players reach the Pillow Fort chapter of the game, go straight and find a pathway that leads towards the beginning section of the chapter. Once there, there will be game consoles on the ground with the Tank Brothers logo.

After gamers turn on the first robot in the Spaced Out chapter, the tunnel behind it will be available for entry. Float upwards and go through the opening on the first layer that leads to a portal. Enter the portal, and it will lead straight to the mini-game. The A Way Out easter egg can be found here.

Close to where players found the Spacewalk mini-game, go up the float tube to the next set of portals, and look for an opening. This tennis video game will be in one of those portals higher up.

Once gamers get to the Hopscotch chapter, go forwards and jump over the blocks. Fans should find themselves in a new area with a road mat on the ground with the mini-game in the back corner.

Around the rail-riding portion of the Hopscotch chapter, players should look for the one cow square tile. Then, follow the green path around the wall, and the mini-game should appear.

After gamers finish the etch-a-sketch in the Hopscotch level, jump on the pathway of floating blocks. There should be a baseball toy on top of some floating blocks on the right that leads to the baseball mini-game.

The Birdstar mini-game at the start of the Once Upon a Time level straight past the courtyard. There should be a TV on the left side with the mini-game underneath.

In the Cuckoo Clock chapter of It Takes Two, the mini-game will be on the far right by the funfair after reaching the town square.

This mini-game can be found nearby the Horse Derby game. Gamers have to look to the left a few meters on top of some rooftops. The Force Tiangulated achievement can also be found here.

For this mini-game, go into the left tower in the winter village after activating the towers.

Right next to the Snow Globe mini-game, this one is located in the center tower under the neon sign after the tower is activated.

Lastly, this mini-game can be found in the right tower and be opened once players activate the tower.

At the beginning of the Beneath the Ice level, jump into the water and go to the underwater station. Then, exit and swim upwards from the station to find some wooden platforms which marks the beginning of the mini-game.

At the beginning of the Weed Whacking level, climb up the stone, and the mini-game should be located directly below.

After the Garden Swings Mini game, players should come across a bunch of bouncy mushrooms. Jump off these onto the rocks above the Larva Basket mini-game should be there.

Once players finish riding the frogs through the pond, there will be a tunnel that needs to be reached with May’s water ability. Once through, there should be a big lantern and the mini-game on the corner.

Nearby the first spawn point of Setting the Stage, walk towards the starting area, and the mini-game should be there.

For the chess mini-game, first, beat the “Rehearsal” portion of the game, and the mini-game should now appear in the hub area for the chapter.

To the left of the chess game, players should walk up some books on the other side of the room. The musical chairs mini-game can be found in front of the blue radio.

In the outdoor section of the Symphony level in the game, use the jetpacks to float onto a white cloud underneath the first platform, and the mini-game will be there.

Once the Symphony level is cleared, players should enter the hub area to Setting the Stage again. In the new area that opened up, immediately go right, and the mini-game will be on an arcade machine.

It Takes Two is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
