Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone gold

Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone gold, BioWare has announced, ahead of the remastered games’ launch on May 14.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition project director Mac Walters has declared that the game has gone gold, meaning it’s been signed off as ready to launch in just over a month’s time.

The game, which players have been excited to learn more about ever since its announcement back in November 2020, is now almost here – and you’ll be able to get your hands on the updated, enhanced versions of one of gaming’s best sci-fi trilogies soon.

If you’re eager for more Mass Effect-related content, fret not. The team at Bioware has said that the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe is also in the early stages of production, and while Bioware wouldn’t say more on it, the studio said it is “looking forward” to sharing information on it in the future.
