Samsung Display might keep making LCD panels until the end of next year

Back in March of last year, we heard that Samsung Display would be discontinuing LCD production by the end of 2020. That came and went, and nothing happened.

Now, a new report from Korea says that Samsung Display is willing to keep making LCDs until the end of next year. What changed, you wonder? Well, apparently there’s been a price rise for LCD panels, which began in June of last year and hasn’t stopped yet.
